what an awesome place. Very few nurseries have so many tropical plants, the volume of plants in an indoor humidity temperature controlled environment was phenomenal. Bonnie the owner knows her stuff and has a wide range of plants, ideal for vivarium as well. She also has tropical fish freshwater shrimp and amphibians.

Very nice and knowledgeable people! Price is decent (3 cups x $20 for moss) *price can vary*, plants are healthy, and the back is huge with many variations of plants for terrariums, vivariums or even for your aquarium. I wish they had more days open but I would recommend checking them out!

Amazing store with vivariums, terrariums, tropical aquatic plants and more! Discovered this gem because my son was interested in making his own tropical terrarium. They held a terrarium class and provided everything you needed. Bonnie who led the class was very friendly, informative and made the class feel welcoming. My son enjoyed it so much we signed up for another class. He is excited to go to more classes and wants to go back for a frog fest! Wonderful little store and will definitely be coming back. Thank you Bonnie!

You must stop here and shop. This is by far the best place to get vivarium supplies or supplies for a terrarium. The amount of variety of plants that this company has that are suitable for terrarium is out of this world.

Bonnie is the owner and I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate how flexible she is and I’m able to drive out to her business all the way from Palm Springs which is a 2 Hour Dr.

What does that tell you? That tells me that her business is fantastic that it’s worth the effort to make that ride.

Wow. Just wow. This is hands-down the best plant nursery in Southern California. I can’t even articulate how happy I am. Here is a brief list of reasons I will only be spending my money here:

Every single supply you could think of for any sort of terrarium vivarium paladarium fish tank backyard water feature. Cork, driftwood, substrate, rocks, drainage layers - you can even come into the store, and the owner will walk you through building the tank - you pick what plants and hardscape you want and she helps cut it to size and install it in the tank all with you there so you understand what she’s doing.

Bonnie made the entire process so easy and fun. Took all of the stress and uncertainty out of it and not having to run to six different stores was amazing. The supplies, the substrate, the plants - Bonnie has everything.

I could go on forever. I have been to a lot of greenhouses and nurseries from San Diego to Santa Barbara and I have never been as impressed as I am by Verdant Vivariums.

She answered all my questions and gave me great advice. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Definitely recommend checking out Verdant Vivariums.

Cool store with great products and selection. Extensive tropical and vivarium plants and other supplies, a number of types of frogs, some varieties of fish, very friendly staff. Some prices are great. Only minor drawback is that prices were missing or difficult to find on some items, but staff was very helpful. Definitely recommend!

Recently went here for two terrarium classes, and it was amazing. The first time I went all my plants died. The owner, Bonnie gave me new plant cutting free of charge. This place deserves 5 stars.
