What a pleasing little bonsai nursery. A lot of different choices on the property. I came away with 3 small bonsai for only 20 dollars. Treat the sweet lady there with respect and she'll take care of you. Someone kept trying to interrupt her while she was helping me and I thought she was going to tell him to leave. Lol. She was very helpful to me and I'm super pleased with my purchase and this place.

Wonderful experience. OMG such a friendly staff. She was funny, helpful and genuine. The selection of small bonsai ready to go was limited. It’s is the middle of winter so it’s understandable. However if you want larger landscape scape ready plants for an Asian inspired garden, definitely Akita has you covered. We picked up several starter plants. I am sure they will eventually be a beautiful mini forest.

This is a great bonsai nursery for stock trees. They have a ton of Japanese black pines and Hollywood junipers. The staff is super friendly and the prices are fantastic. There is a good number of well priced small items to be used as bonsai stock and some larger trees that are ready for development. The lot is huge and filled with trees.

I went there today and the lady was very helpful with what I was looking for. I don't understand the one star review from a week ago because I had the same experience and I thought it was wonderful that she was helping me find what I was looking for. She had a medium size ponytail palm that I inquired about. She told me $150 but she didn't really want to sell it. She told me that the golden west swap meet or another nursery down the street would have them for much cheaper. I went to the other nursery that she recommend and was able to find one much cheaper. How is it bad if she recommends someone else because she doesn't have what you're looking for?

I don’t recommend coming here if you are looking to purchase smaller plants. Came in looking for a smaller starter bonsai to give as a gift and before even inquiring about the price, the worker there didn’t want to help us any further and kept telling us to go to other places like Target or the swap meet instead. Also said their nursery was for people who were interested in their larger plants. Quite disappointed with my experience since I heard about their amazing customer service, but was proven otherwise.

Not really an advanced bonsai nursery.
But good for bigger trees .
It has Junnipers, pine trees and other evergreen trees . Not really what I call bonsais since they are bigger trees .
An amateur may like the bigger tree but not really a bonsai expert.
Some smaller trees are available but are small cuttings and not really classical binsai shape

My boyfriend surprised me with this place today for my birthday bcuz I’m always showing him pictures of bonsai trees! It was truly a pleasure, the people who worked here were so kind and funny. Tweetie was so lovely. Will definitely keep returning? prices are amazing too BTW
