I like this place a lot. The guys are helpful and knowledgeable. I like the small business feel. But its a large yard with a wide assortment. Photos are of cold-water canyon, tumbled stone and ginger fines.

They have a huge yard and wide selection of materials. The staff is very knowledgeable.
However, they almost always slip on their delivery dates and you won't get a good answer no matter how hard you try. So if you have a project timeline, flip a coin

All good they helps in prompt delivery. However I am not sure why they won't take any other pallets back rather than their own. For their dirty pallets they keep $35 deposit for each pallet. Though if you deliver their pallets back, they deduct $10 and credit back $25. I ask why you keep$10/pallet? they said that's their policy..what policy and what for? Also they (almost all) charge for partial pallet charge..not convinced that too for sure. I really appreciate genuine response if any with meaningful answer.

The guys here are fabulous & very helpful! I was shopping for some rocks to paint & was a little timid about stepping out of my comfort zone of craft stores & going into the construction/landscaping zone but they made me feel right at home.

They quickly put my fears to rest & were able to point me in the right direction, showing me which rocks the crafting crowds like most (SUPER helpful) & a few other options. When I was ready to check out I felt REALLY embarrassed asking for help (I couldn't even drag that bag of rocks an inch, much less lug it into the trunk!), but they assured me they always help people w/that & totally took care of it! They also insisted on filling my bag to the top in order to get my money's worth, which was so sweet, seeing I didn't even get half of it filled because it was already too heavy for me! They grabbed a shovel & topped it off, sealed the bag & plopped it into my trunk in under 5 mins...SO SWEET & SUPER AWESOME!

Their pricing seemed pretty good as far as rocks go (1 bag, as much as you can fit, for $15, depending on which rock you choose) but I honestly can't say if they're more in line with other products or not. But I can say that my in-laws used them about 15 yrs ago to deliver tan bark for their yard & they were very happy with their services AND their pricing.

No matter what, I would pick these guys every time because you can't find anyone with more knowledge, great product AND incredible customer service than Cochran.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. They took time to help explain what I needed and what my options were. I went in more or less clueless to this process of picking materials but Nick was helpful in sending me pictures of the material before I came into the store.

Product was excellent and delivered timely. The employees I dealt with seemed a bit impatient or even a bit "short" tempered. But they definitely were very busy with others calling etc so that could be it
