We were so happy with Green Leaf Landscaping and Maintenance that we hired Julio and his team of landscaping professionals to undertake an even larger project in our backyard.
(Please see our Yelp review from March 2024 of their outstanding work)
We are trying to get our backyard ready for the summer months.
This latest project consisted of several phases:
The old grass was to be killed and removed.
The space was to be leveled out and replaced with new sod.
The sprinklers were to be replaced with new water efficient sprinklers.
We wanted paving stones installed to provide a walkway for our guests to our patio area.
Lastly, we asked for decomposed granite so our beautiful potted plants can be highlighted.

As you can see by the before and after pictures, Julio and his team did another outstanding job.

Julio has instilled in his team, the importance of showing up on time, communicating effectively and always making sure that we were happy with the results of each phase of this project.

Upon completion of this latest project, Julio still remains available to provide us with any suggestions on how to upkeep our newest space.

Julio and his team were great! From the beginning Julio was really responsive, happy to answer questions and made suggestions that really improved our overall vision. He and his team installed drainage, made sure we got a hardscape that fit our style and the style of the home, and installed the native plants we love. He turned an unusable space into an oasis. His team was courteous, professional and cleaned up when they were done leaving us with only needing to set up our furniture and enjoy. Would definitely recommend, they were reasonably priced, professional, and the end product looks beautiful and top quality.

El patron Julio. After 3 other interviews, i found Julio to be responsible and responsive. My calls and texts were answered. The job was started and done on time. My request for adjustment and change fulfilled. Melvin and Martin were good hard workers. I highly recommend Green Leaf Maintenance.

What a waste of time! Don't waste yours!

I called on Tues. and left a message, and he called back soon after, saying he missed a call. I needed an estimate for my front and back yard maintenance and/or landscaping needs. He immediately referred to the reviews, saying the other people never sent him their address and that's why he was unreliable, and he asked me to send the address, which I did immediately. We made an appointment for Friday 11am. He asked ME to send HIM a reminder, which right there is already suspect. I sent him the reminder on Thursday evening and he replied "Sounds good, thank you for the reminder." I changed my whole day around, rushed and tried to be there on time, and lo' and behold he was nowhere to be seen. I texted and called. He called back. It went like this:

"Where are you? I'm here."
"In Ontario?"
"No, Pomona! What time are you going to be here?"
"Oh, what's the address?... I can be there in 37 minutes."
"What happened to our appointment? We said 11am!"
"Oh, I had a job to do..." [fill in excuse here]

Despite the multiple bad reviews, I wanted to give him a chance. What a waste of time. Don't waste yours and hire someone so unreliable, he can't even come to give you an estimate to work a job!
