I’m terrible with names but the woman who works up front is the nicest and coolest person in the whole place. There is one younger mechanic guy who is cool but I don’t know if he’s even there anymore. Either way I like the place and I’ll keep going there.

I have used RVY&G several times. I have always found the service there to be great. Sometimes it will take some time to get your device back, because they are truly swamped with work. If you ask to begin with, they will give you an honest answer. Their prices are fair. They will tell you if it isn't worth fixing. Good people.? ?

Quite knowledgeable however they push you to purchase larger more expensive options that really may not be in your best interest. I bought a few sets of extremely nice saw chain files from them and they always have little odds and ends in stock... which is nice.

Be advised. If you park in front with a work truck full of non-Stihl equipment you may catch a little attitude.

We have had several bad experiences with this dealer, but we have continued to go here because it is close and we like to deal with local people, but today is the last time. The man who runs this is a surly man who lies to his customers. We needed a small part for our weed-whacker (we bought it here) and as usual had to order it. He told us it would be in yesterday so we went to pick it up. It had come in but he refused to open the box. We went back today and he still refused to open the box. He said he was alone and did not have time. Just then one of his workers came in from the back room. My husband said he would wait and this jerk proceeded to other boxes first leaving what was obviously our box. This is typical of our other experiences here.

I had them sharpen some chains for me and they came back worse than when I brought them in. I would have preferred that they just be clear that they aren’t trained to offer this service

Better call before you go.
They don't work on all small engines.
Brought my Homelite leaf blower in for them to check and see why I couldn't get it started, and as soon as they seen the name they said we don't work on those.
Go figure

Marry who works the counter is very helpful in comparison to the other shops I have dealt with in the sonoma county area. Would highly recommend this store to anyone in need of gas powered equipment.

These guys are salesmen. Took in 2 stroke blower that friend used without oil and froze up. They told me it was toast, so they sold me a new one and a friend got the "toasted" one running. Not sure if I trust them very much.
