The quality of Lennar has to be the absolute worst. Customer service is nonexistent. Communication LOL. Buying a Lennar home has been a real life nightmare. Every day we find something else wrong with this extremely poorly built “home”. I wish I read these reviews before purchasing a home with Lennar. The day we signed and closed on our home, it wasn’t ready. Literally unlivable. No CO had been issued but they had us sign closing documents and told us it would be ready. No communication from our sales rep Robert. Robert placed blame on our construction manager. If ANYONE would of just been honest and let us know our home wasn’t ready it would of saved us a lot of extra expenses and stress. We’ve been in this house for 6 weeks still patiently waiting for work to be done. Our kitchen isn’t fully functional because cabinets were cracked and broken during installation. Our stove couldn’t fit in between the cabinets and was sticking out for 3 weeks. Someone came out and easy pulled the granite up because it wasn’t glued to any thing and was able to slide the stove in. The granite is just sitting there unglued wobbling on a cracked cabinet I’ve been told can’t be replaced for three months. Our list of things that need to be done is too long to put in this review. I have reached out the Lennar customer service, NEVER heard anything back. We have had meetings with the construction manager and area sales manager. That was 3 weeks ago and nothing has changed. No work done. Just found out my hot water heater needs to be replaced just another item on our extremely long list.

I have left a review before and it seems the ONLY way to get any type of response from Lennar. They don’t seem to care about their homeowners once you close. These “homes” are built with such carelessness. Please do your research before considering a home with Lennar. My family and I have been in my home less than 4 months. It’s next to impossible to get Lennar to fix the issues that they created in the first place. Last night I had what seems to be termites coming out of my kitchen ceiling. It was such a defeating feeling seeing these bugs coming out of the ceiling after all the other issues we have had with Lennar. Here are some more pictures of their craftsmanship along with a picture of whatever is living inside of my walls.

I decided to buy a house with this builder in February / 2022, from the beginning I only received a terrible treatment and the lack of ethics and professionalism were present at all times, since I wanted to buy my house I continued in the process since I did not want to stop for that , I thought "Everything will be fine, then everything will be better", which never happened, everything got worse as time passed, the sales representative Jeannette Beltran only called me twice rushing me if I was interested in buying a house that a few days before they had cancelled, their bad service, their lack of ethics and respect towards the client never lacked, even so I decided to continue, in the construction process I found numerous problems and they always gave me an excuse, wet and careless materials, broken parts, the framing had problems that I do not understand how it passed an inspection, you can see in the images that you will see here, I hired a private inspector and they canceled the appointment I had to carry out an inspection Inspection before the installation of the drywall, just the day that the appointment was scheduled, all the drywall was in place and the inspection could not be carried out, all the problems had been covered so that the inspector could not do his job. I closed the house at the end of June / 2022 and I still have pending problems which I am struggling to fix and they do not give me an answer. The A/C is completely unbalanced, when the second floor reaches 70 degrees F on the first floor I only get about 80 degrees F, a huge difference and it's because they didn't install enough ductwork on the first floor and they didn't install returns. I know it's my fault for not canceling the whole process, I'm just showing you what you will be exposed to if you decide to buy in this community. The images will show you the final product that will be delivered, they are only interested in selling the house regardless of its quality. I hope not many have had the same luck that I had.

Process was smooth and everything was done perfectly by the time we needed. Wonderful experience, with great people and it is a beautiful home. We couldn't be happier. Our whole experience has been great. Step by step throughout we knew what to expect and had consistent communication. The follow up on any concerns has been almost immediately. The materials and craftsmanship are fine, but this isn’t a high end home. We definitely have the value we paid for and we love our house.

It's absolutely DISGUSTING! the construction workers leave their trash ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Not only do they leave trash all over the place, they play their music really loud and block the roads.

Our home buying experience has been nothing but a nightmare with Lennar. We used Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title because it was supposed to make for seamless communication and make the entire process that much easier. Communication was non existent. Nobody knew what day we were actually closing because they did not talk to each other and I had to correct each of them individually. Not only that, but I tried to communicate with our closer at the title company using Lennar track which is their portal, and never got an answer. So I called but the phone number listed in their portal was not the right number. The loan officer was an insufferable idiot who I literally dressed taking to. He made mistake after mistake and always blamed it on his team. What a team leader! Every time someone made a mistake or something went wrong they would all point blame at someone else. Never an apology, never any accountability. Lennar loves to use the excuse of "oh he's new, so he doesn't know what he's talking about". So unprofessional! We moved from across the country and Lennar forced us to close 6 weeks early because they wanted to close as many houses as possible before the end of their quarter. They literally told my agent that! What kind of company is this?!?! This worried me because it felt like they were just gonna throw the house together. Which they did! I'm glad I didn't listen to them and do our walk through remotely, which they tried to push hard for. Luckily we had family in the area and we hired an inspector to do the walk through for us. So many issues were found. I seriously contemplated walking away but Lennar likes to make that hard by holding your earnest money themselves, instead of having an impartial third party like the title company hold it. So we would have lost over $20k, which I just couldn't do. This is also so unethical in my opinion!! When we finally got there on closing day, nobody was there to do the final walkthrough and the house was literally filthy! Paint on the carpets everywhere, dirty shoe prints on the floor, dirty hand prints on the walls, water just trickling out of the kitchen sink, dead bugs everywhere, metal shards in the carpets, and paint splatter ON EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE!!! They tried to tell us it had been professionally cleaned, apparently they were hoping we were blind?! We had to pay to stay in a hotel with our kids, dog and our u-haul because I refused to sign off on the house until it was livable. This is not the first new construction house we have purchased, but it is the first Lennar house we have purchased, and it will be the last! When you buy a brand new house it needs to be perfect when you move in. I was told by one of the construction managers that I was being too picky. I told him he wouldn't like it if one of my kids got a metal shard stuck in their feet and I sued them! He just walked out like the big baby he was! We have been in the house for a few months now and are still finding issues. Do NOT buy a Lennar home or use their other companies. There is no accountability and all they care about us throwing up houses as fast as they possibly can. Also the construction workers leave garbage everywhere! I have to clean up their lunch trash almost every single day.

Use a realtor. Get your own inspection. I closed 11/30. Multiple issues. Been closed since 11/30. Was told me and my children staying out while builder finished home would help speed things along. Came home 12/22 still wasn't complete. My dishwasher don't work. And the fuse that goes to that particular item is blinking red. The paint job is not good. I'm already getting estimates to have the interior redone. Multiple things I'm seeing and it makes me sad. I also pd to stay in hotel the week I closed because house wasn't done and we had uhaul and no where to go. But guess what come 1/1/23 they will expect payment on time. I know all companies have challenges but I wish I had gone with a different builder. My sales consultant....let's just say I'm disappointed. I'm doing my best to stay positive but very sad and disappointed.

I was told my home would be done by end of month. They had me close remotely?! When we arrived house not done and the city would not allow anyone to live there. Never told us anything. Later found out from construction manager, as well as roofer, and cabinetry that they were trying to close on as many houses as possible by end of month regardless of condition. We had to stay in hotel with all our stuff in a uhaul. Spent large amount of money for food, storage and lodging until city said we could move into house even though still not completed. Lennar offered to pay our expense on the condition we sign a document saying we would not say anything bad about them or report them to any entity. Laughed in their crooked face.

Today we are still “cleaning up”. Paint on carpets, grout coming off. No stove for a month. Cabinets were hung at an angle and not secured to anything. Caulking spread out unevenly. Outlets not flush with the wall. Doors hung unevenly. THEY FORGOT TO PUT A CLOSET IN A BEDROOM! Biggest thing is floor joist not installed level so we walk up and down hills upstairs. Sprinkler system is broken and water doesnt turn off (of course thats not covered by warranty) Every vendor we have come in to fix says the same thing, that lennar is just trying to sell as fast as they can with no expectation of quality. The whole community has nightmare stories dealing with these people. Corporate has no sympathy for anyone experiencing issue.
