We’ve been loved and cared for by Blossom and the strong and diverse community Lilian has created for over 2 years now. There’s never been a day we doubted this was THE place for our child. Lilian is wise, generous of heart, and makes every little moment a magical memory (for us and the kids). She uses the seasons and the earth as her guide for the curriculum and matches it to each child’s developmental capabilities. Lilian is eager to share her knowledge with families in pedagogical workshops, one on one support, resource recommendations, and even the traditional Waldorf home visit; she genuinely wants all families to thrive. Meals are balanced, homemade, seasonal, and organic. No plastic or electronic toys here; kids learn through open ended toys that include both high price point items and those found from nature with equal emphasis (really shows you that kids love to play more than they love toys). The other caregivers are just as loving and attentive as Lillian and there’s been very little turnover. My child experiences Blossom as a safe place of comfort and love as well as one of responsibility and rhythm. The children aren’t only cared for but have a sense of pride and stewardship as they tend the garden, create seasonal art, set the tables and serve the food to each other, and have weekly tasks like making soup with veggies brought from home. Can you believe kids delight in eating their veggies here (peer influence can be positive)! Finally, for you isolated and weary parents, there are many days that families linger in the yard, enjoying the beautiful garden, weather, company together. Join us.

We have been with the Blossom family since July 2021 with our two kids and have truly enjoyed our experience. From all the fun activities Lilian and her team does with all the kids daily, to all the regular get togethers with the families, the close knit community Lilian has fostered ensures closeness between the kids and given parents many opportunities to become good friends.

We are forever thankful we found Blossom and grateful for the love and care Lilian and her team has for all the kids!

We couldn’t be more grateful for Lilian and Blossom. This program is intentionally inclusive of children and families of so many sorts, including multiethnic, multilingual, and/or queer families. Lilian sees so much in each of the children at her school, and she goes out of her way to support us as parents through parent education and 1:1 conferencing. She is a passionate early child educator with a wealth of experience and a deep grounding in Waldorf philosophy. She chooses her staff carefully, so that the people our children spend their days with are patient, joyful, and dedicated child care professionals who seem to all really love their jobs and our kids. The food is seasonal, organic, and incredible (and we are so happy not to pack any lunches!). Lilian is full of expertise on how to keep children attuned to the seasons and safe and happy (and the right temperature) to be outside all year round. She punctuates each transition with rituals and preparation. She really emphasizes the value of a multiage toddler community, and we have watched our kid grow so much from being one of the youngest to the oldest. And finally, we feel lucky to have made friends with the other parents and be connected to the Blossom community. I’m already sad about when we have to graduate.

Blossom has been the most wonderful experience for our youngest of three! Our other children had other preschool paths, and what a delight to discover this little piece of paradise for our youngest. The teachers are warm, incredibly caring and professional. The programs is exceptionally grounding not only for the children, but the whole family. Lilian warmly greets my other children each day when we pick up our daughter; the atmosphere is so nurturing! I cannot say enough good things about this program- in a busy, busy, busy world, I love how Blossom and Lilian so kindly remind us of the simple joys of childhood and family.

Our son attended Blossom since he was 14 months until this spring since now is ready to start kindergarten. We loved Lilian’s play based, kids centered, almost all day outdoor program. They develop independence, tolerance and a great sense of community. The food is amazing and all homemade and organic. Lilian and assistants emphasize the value of a good and warm meal and a restorative nap along with little friends. Blossom is a beautiful space for kids and a great support for parents. Highly recommended!

Simply put - an utterly fantastic place for your child/children to foster their adolescent growth and development. The environment is incredibly calm and soothing, reflective of the attention and care that Lilian and her staff provide. Her commitment to always fine tuning a dynamic environment where the children feel included and nurtured shows itself at every turn. We love being part of the community she creates, and her approach really allows each child’s individual spirit to blossom (no pun intended). Our son has gone for 2 years, and is about to turn 3 - I’m just really grateful he’s been able to get this kind of quality experience and care so early in his life.

Our son struggled mightily with the transition into daycare after COVID-baby life, but Lilian and her wonderful team stuck by him through tears and tantrums as he found his footing, and truly blossomed socially and behaviorally. He has learned so many skills about kindness, leadership and how we treat ourselves and others. As parents, we also appreciate the Blossom community, which is wonderfully diverse and inclusive. Really feel like we lucked out.

Blossom is a magical land where my son has thrived. I can rest assured while at Blossom that he is m so well loved, cared for, and fed the most incredible meals. Each child at Blossom is celebrated for who they are as individuals and supported in all ways as they grow. I cannot imagine finding a place that is more loving and compassionate for your child.
