After over a year of research on the pros and cons of using Bamboo in your landscape, we decided to plant Bamboo as a privacy screen in our back yard. We visited Paso Bamboo a couple times in that year asking every question we could think of. We spoke with Gavino Villa who thoroughly answered all of our questions. He showed us on his 40-acer farm exactly what we would get in our back yard privacy screen. He has so many varieties to choose from and he gave us great advise as to which Bamboo types would work best for where we lived. He told us he could deliver and plant tall plants that would give us some privacy immediately. This was one big benefit that we were excited about. So, we scheduled Gavino and his son Xavier to come and plant a 35 foot privacy screen in our back yard.
Gavino and Xavier promptly drove up with a trailer full of 17- to 20-foot-tall bamboo plants and everything they needed to complete the job. They immediately went to work. I have never seen such work ethic as they dug the trench in record time. I really was skeptical when Gavino said he could get the job done in one day…but I was totally wrong! He and his son worked tirelessly and dug and planted our privacy screen in record time. What’s more impressive is they did it while I was hanging around and asking questions and taking pictures. Gavino and Xavier are true professionals that do exactly what they say they will do. Needless to say, we are very pleased with our beautiful Bamboo privacy screen. We can’t wait for it to fully mature in a year or two. We are so happy we went with Paso Bamboo and met the Villas. Such a positive interaction when you get exactly what you were told and planned on.

Xavier and his dad are awesome! They far exceeded my expectations and help me with my own sanctuary made out of bamboo. They are had hardworking and very knowledgeable. We are extremely happy with our bamboo and the experience we had with Gavino and team. We now have much needed privacy from our backyard neighbors and it will only get better with time as the bamboo continues to grows and fill in completely. Working with Gavino was a true joy. We appreciate the time he spent with us answering our many questions and educating us on the different types of bamboo. He made sure we were comfortable with the process from beginning to end. Gavino and team delivered the plants, soil, mulch and liner to our property and performed the installation in a difficult sloped area. They were very professional and careful and when they left you couldn't tell they had been there. I have never had anyone clean up a job site as well as they did. Highly recommend!!
