We have had serious issues with cacti surviving in the intense Sacramento Valley heat…that is until we met the wonderful owner of K&L Cactus nursery Miss Lorraine! Imagine driving to your grandma’s house but instead your grandma was an extremely knowledgeable horticulturist with a house filled with hundreds of cacti/succulent plants and she built a greenhouse down the road with about a thousand more plants. We found exactly what we needed from Miss Lorraine and she gave us a big old hug and a cacti book before we left. The hospitality and knowledge from Miss Lorraine was impeccable!

I took several pictures showing the greenhouse and various plants she offered, including plants with sun tolerance. The prices were extremely fair. Better than Green Acres or any other nursery I’ve visited in Northern California for succulent type plants. Definitely worth the drive out there!

Had a wonderful time learning about Cactus ? and speaking with the owner she is very knowledgeable and humble. We had our kids with us and she is very nice kid friendly person. Overall great experience alot of Cactus selections good pricing per quality.

Excellent cactus nursery. Lorraine is great and has amazing knowledge of cacti and succulents. Also has two of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Most other plant nurseries only have a small section devoted to cacti and succulents, whereas her entire inventory is all cacti and succulents. So if you are serious about these plants it is worth making a trip to check them out!

I visited this place for the first with some family members and the owner Lorraine could have not been more gracious. She gave us a wonderful tour, explaining the different varieties of Cacti and succulents, which varieties like more or less sun, which needed more or less water etc. Lorraine’s knowledge seems to have no boundaries answering all our questions. I’ve been to this nursery twice to restock my personal succulent & cactus collection. I love it & I plan to make another trip here soon! The nursery has a stunning variety of beautiful plants that are displayed in a way that makes it really fun to browse through. It feels like finding new treasures every time. If you’re lucky, you might even get to see a tiny frog or two hopping about ;-P. Every plant I’ve purchased from the nursery (I can’t help it, I buy a lot!) have thrived. Very hearty succulents & cactus. I’m pleased with everything!

Lorraine is just so knowledgeable & very caring about her customers and the plants. This is truly a one woman run show & she does a fantastic job!!

My new favorite nursery, hands down. I honestly don’t think I could’ve been happier with my visit the owner is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met and has probably forgotten more about plants than I’ll ever learn, so incredibly knowledgeable and when she was talking about the plants there is so much passion in her voice it’s Blatantly obvious how much she loves each and every one of these plants. Not to mention I got the privilege to see her agave in full bloom which absolutely blew my mind. I’m very grateful that I have an establishment like this in my community, 10/10 would highly recommend
