Luckys did an awesome job putting Pinestraw in my flower beds and around trees. Dylan was very accommodating and checked with me several times to see what I wanted him to do. He even helped me walk around my yard to look at his work since I am disabled.

Have regularly used Luckies and been pleased, but I must have gotten a really bad batch of straw. Lots of leaves and debris mixed in the rolls. Expect this from Home Depot but not Luckies at $14 per roll.

In need of mulch? Luckies has great mulch. These large contractors bags are $10 per bag. They don’t deliver but will help load the heavy bags into your vehicle. I stopped by at noon to check on pricing…they said come in a bit and they would have the mulch bagged for me. These bags hold as much as 4-5 of the ones you can get at the chain hardware stores. Highly recommend.

Absolutely undependable. If you think you can call ahead to plan for something forget it. You may get one thing on the phone then show up to have been lied to. Also, their straw quality has dropped off tremendously since covid. I lost multiple customers because of the quality of their straw, and when I tried to reach so they could make it right they just ignored me. BAD business all around!

Called and set an appointment and never showed up or called! I called them at end of day and was given a bunch of excuses. Reached out another day and told them I was coming from Pensacola to Milton and Iit woukd take 20 minutes or so did not wait or call. BEWARE!!!

On May 8, I bought 10 rolls of pinestraw from the Luckie's location off exit 234 in Calera. at $13.95 per roll. The person who took an filled my order was named Jeffery. After getting home, I started to put out the straw. When I cut the wrapping off the first roll and started, I immediately noted how the "straw" just came apart in crumbly pieces as I was spreading it. There were sticks, trash, and the straw itself felt like it disintegrated in my hands. I've bought from Luckie's before and the straw has always been okay. I thought maybe this was just a bad roll and went on to open and spread about 4-5 other rolls. The contents were similar. I took a lunch break and I called Luckie's and spoke to a lady. She said sorry about that and asked did I want to take the straw back. I had already put out at least 5 or 6 rolls so I said no, but I wanted her to know how poor the material was. She again said sorry. I told her I would put out the other and I would call again if it was bad. The next rolls were similar. Normally the fresh straw is puffy and looks thick for a few days. This straw looked compressed like it had been down weeks. I decided to go back to where I got it from and talk to them about how poor it was. When I bought it, it looked like I was getting rolls from a truck that was almost empty. I'm think older straw that has been sitting. When I get there, the same guy, Jeffery, is taking order. I tell him the issue. He says - they hear similar stories sometime. I mention that the straw seemed old. He was basically - sorry but there's nothing I can do about it, it's just the luck of the draw. I said that this wasn't acceptable. I did not ask for my money back, but I asked for a couple of GOOD rolls, to take a top dress at lest the bedding area in my front yard. He said he could not do that. As we walked out of the office, I showed him some "straw" that I had put in a bucket. He says looks like straw to him. He see the crumbs in the bed of my truck and says all straw has such. Again I repeated my request for a couple of rolls to address the problem. He said no, I'd have to take it up with corporate. I repeated my name for him so he would know who is complaining. I did not yell, nor curse at him. He just didn't seem to want to do anything about this. I've seen plenty of times where there are broken bales or surely they could afford to give a couple of rolls to satisfy a repeat customer. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing, but I had been cheated in this exchange. I drove back home and tried to call "corporate". All of the numbers are the same. I finally spoke to a lady, may have been the same person from earlier. I repeated the problem and told her how I was dissatisfied with the product and that I was told to "call corporate". She expressed sympathy and said she would call her manager and have him call me. It's now been a week and no call. I am not happy with how this was ignored. It seems Luckie's is happy to take your money, but they don't care to deal with their inferior product. Not a happy customer.

Had 60 or so bails delivered and installed a few weeks ago. Delivery went well, nothing to rave or complain about. Had 15 rolls delivered yesterday and am disappointed about the quality of the straw. Each of the bails were loaded with bark, limbs, etc. Quality of straw for nearly $14 per roll just isn't there. Will be finding other options for next time.
