This is the second time we used Richard's Tree Service, the first time they did an amazing job hence I called them back a few years later. They are reasonable with the prices. They are not the least expensive, but you get what you pay for. Fully licensed and insured. They have all the right equipment to tackle big trees.
The crews are very profesional, they show up on time, do very good work on the trees and they clean up everything. The crews are friendly and they listen to what I wanted done. I will be using them again in the future, I HIGHLY recommend them.

Was on time , studied how to take large limb down and not damage property crew look good and ready to get t work. Did fast and very good job i was amazed at how great of a job they did and cleaned complete area. Did extra work on neighbors area where tree fell they were exceptional i even gave a tip Me very happy!!!

Richard's Tree Service was recommended by a local nursery to remove a dead tree stump in preparation for a new tree I was going to have planted. The tree stump I needed to have removed was a 2-3 year old Japanese Maple that died and that I previously cut down. The stump was about 7" high and about the size of my fist. Unfortunately, having just undergone spine surgery, I couldn't remove this myself. Considering Richard's came highly and personally recommended by the nursery staff, and because their website indicates they do "expert tree removal regardless of size and location" I figured I'd give them a call.

I called them on Tuesday at 8:15am and spoke to "Ron." Ron told me it sounded like a simple job. I explained my spine situation to him. Regarding the job, Ron said, "Sounds like you need to just get a shovel and dig it out." Ron said he'd check and get back to me. I didn't hear back from him at all the rest of the day.

I called them back the next day, Wednesday, at 9:25am after waiting over 24-hours. Ron answered again. I told Ron I had spoken with him the day prior but never heard back from him. He responded, "Oh ya, I talked to the owner and he said it wouldn't be cost effective to send out a crew for such a small job. We'd recommend just hiring a gardener or landscaper to do the job." Frustrated by the inconsistency in what I was being told compared to the recommendation I received and their assertion on their own website that they handle jobs "regardless of size," I asked Ron exactly how much we were talking cost wise to send out a crew. Ron couldn't provide me a price. I asked Ron if I could speak to the owner and he told me he was not available. I asked Ron if the owner could please call me to discuss and Ron said he'd have him call me back.

Today is Friday afternoon. I have not received a call back from the owner, Ron, or anyone else at Richard's Tree Service. Apparently they are not interested in serving community members with jobs they deem too small. My advice? Don't waste your time trying to get a quote from them. I reached out to another local tree service in our area yesterday morning. This morning a representative from the company came out and bid the job. This afternoon their crew came out and removed the tree stump and roots. The price was insanely reasonable and I didn't risk re-injuring my back.

Avoid Richard's Tree Service and explore other options. They only are interested in large jobs.

We had to have one of our favorite trees trimmed, as the large branches were showing signs of splitting and leaning toward our house and over the road. Richard's crew did an incredible job of removing two huge branches and cabling the remaining three. The guys paid close attention to trimming the tree and shaping it. They were so efficient and kept the site clean. My wife and I were impressed with the professionalism and the care that was taken to explain the process. One of the guys even showed us the type of cable used and described how it worked. We feel safer and the tree looks fantastic!

Richard’s Tree service is amazing. They just removed 5 large trees and pruned back another, which were over hanging my roof and in very difficult places to remove. They were thorough , careful, polite and super easy to work with. Mark was always happy to give me suggestions and advice. You could not choose a better tree service. They left my property cleaner than they arrived. They are truly the best tree professionals. Thank you so much.

We recently had Richard's Tree Service trim a few of our trees.
They were on time, did a fantastic job, and cleaned everything up.
The workers were friendly and helpful! They are the only tree company I will use! Oh and after our neighbor saw the job they did for us, he hired them
