We recently ordered 6 tons of 3/4" Desert River Rock to be delivered and unfortunately the truck dumped the wrong size rock (1.5"!!) even though the correct one was on the invoice. We're pretty easy going, but I'm not going to lie, we were like "WTF DO WE DO NOW?". The driver, Dave, called the office and told us the Manager, Jimmy, could be calling and he did within minutes. Jimmy gave us options that he coud do to get rid of the rock, but we opted to keep it FOR FREE (woo hoo!), to give away to neighbors. He also offered FREE delivery for our new rocks that'd be delivered within 20 minutes! This time my husband looked into the back of the truck to make sure it was the right stuff, and it was! 🙂 Even though there was a mistake, Ryan in the office and Jimmy the Manager made this process easy, professional and another reason why we only go to C & C for landscaping rock. See you guys next season, we still have lots to do! 🙂

This past spring I had ordered 5 yards of mulch from C & C, although I live nearly across the street from the company it was late summer this fall before I was able to start working on the pile. Digging into what I assumed was a mulch pile. Much to my surprise nearly half of the 5 yards is nothing but blue colored clay (blue when damp). This has me to wonder if I paid for the $75/yard mulch if I would have gotten a better load.
I know this, when I owned my own nursery years ago I would have been totally embarrassed by this type of load and either refunded that customer or brought a fresh load at my cost and helped the customer spread out that load of mulch.
The pictures do not even show what I moved to the blindside of my home and broke down. I guess I could have saved money going to either Lowe's (who has spots for veterans to park) or Home Depot.

My experience with C&C here in Castle Rock has been amazing, I placed 3 orders with them in total for my DIY backyard landscaping over the course of a month. That consisted of 6 tons of sand, 9 tons of decorative gravel, and 15 tons of granite base gravel. They answer the phone promptly and provide updates leading up to delivery which I really appreciate, their material and delivery prices are very fair, and I would definitely buy from them again in the future. Overall, this business is run very efficiently. 10/10 stars, just fantastic!

The good prices draw you in but...I ordered lets says 4 tons of rocks. What I got was 2 tons of rocks and 2 tons of dirt. I called in to see what they could do about it...no returns. No refunds. We will give you more at a discount! Why would I want more dirt that has to be laboriously cleaned? When I got to talk to a manager: Hi Terry! She had the audacity to be rude to me, interrupting me, blaming everyone but themselves for the poor quality of their delivery. Sure, I get it. Sometimes some dirt comes off the bottom of the truck. But half of your load? Nonsense. I demanded a full refund, which they said they would do but never "delivered" on either. Find another business for your landscaping needs. Words gets around. I've talked to multiple landscapers saying the same thing about the quality of your deliveries. Fix it, or go out of business.

I am a regular homeowner, not a contractor. I called and ordered a lot of sand. I didn't get the lady's name but she was very professional and very efficient. I ordered sand on Monday, it got delivered on Tuesday first thing int the morning. The delivery driver was amazing and very professional as well.
I was very impressed with the service and care C&C sand took with me and I know that I am not a regular client as I was just ordering one load of sand. I will always recommend C&C sand to anyone!
