Great beans, bad customer service. I stayed in Dolores, CO recently and bought these beans and enjoyed them immensely. I thought to buy them for my daughters who both have celiac disease (the real thing, not the ‘intolerance’ that is so fashionable of late). Nothing in their packaging or website says if they’re gluten-free so I called, the issue being if the mill is used for wheat products as well as beans. The woman who answered told me with a growl, “Well, they’re grown in a field.’ And when I explained the concern of cross-contamination if they also mill wheat products she answered, “just beans” and as I was thanking her, she hung up on me. They may well be gluten-free but I’ll be getting my beans from a friendlier source.

We stopped at Adobe Milling Co on our way back from New Mexico. One of my co workers recommended that we stop if we were passing through. I grabbed him a 20 pound bag of Anasazi beans. On his recommendation I got me one as well. They are supposed to be pretty tasty. I also picked up some of their hot sauce and a few mixed bean bags for soup. I am excited to try it all. The shop was a fun stop and the employee working the counter was nice. It is nice to get out of the car and stretch after a long drive and I would recommend this place for a quick pit stop.

Have purchased beans in small clear plastic bags and have really enjoyed them, well worth the money. Last year I ordered 2-20 pound bags of beans. Just opened the first one it is full of tiny beans, and bad beans. This is not the product I was receiving! Looks as if they are buying third party beans and placing them in their bags. Bragged on my other purchases but will be telling everyone to stay away from this company.

Always stop here on my way to New Mexico and buy frioles and their jalapeño sauce. No one grows beans like they do in Dove Creek

We come every year for our beans & for our family's beans. People are great, friendly & helpful. Big selection of other products, spices, green chili sauce, flour, etc. Best all around on these things! Everyone needs to try them out! Thank you & see you all again next year!

Some of the best spices and beans around. I live in MS and order from here as often as I can. The bacon bean spice, holy frijoles seasoning, and Anasazi beans are my staple from here.
