First time visiting The Plant Corner, it was well out of the way of where I stay in NYC when I'm visiting but definitely worth the visit if you're a plant person! They had a really good variety of plants and pots, If I could bring plants with me back into the UK then I definitely would have purchased a plant! But luckily I've got a loyalty card for when I come back and spend my money on pots and accessories also very helpful staff, thank you! See you again soon, Katelyne x

We had just moved into the neighborhood and a plant friend gifted us with gift card to Plant Corner. We are new to plant parenthood and Jira was welcoming, helpful and supportive. I didn’t feel bad for having failed at previous plant care and she gave inspiration and confidence. We left with two starter plants in new pots. The store is inviting and decorated beautifully. We’ll definitely be returning for workshops, advice and more plants.

My favorite plant store in the city. Such a stunning space with a great selection. They take a good care of their plants that keep thriving long after purchase. Highly recommend for anyone, even if you know nothing about gardening! The staff is very nice and will answer any questions you have, in person and on their instagram.

I’m OBSESSED with Plant Corner!! Jira is so knowledgeable and sweet. When I first moved to Harlem two years ago, I populated my whole apartment with Plant Corner and most of my plants are not only still alive but THRIVING! My monstera has tripled in size and I have gifted many cuttings to friends and family growing their own jungles.

PC is beautiful and a perfect place to add to your post-brunch shopping plans and regular Harlem haunts. The space is beautifully curated with common plants as well as rare and carnivorous plants! Get a plant and a pot and they will repot it for free in house! Perfect place to buy gifts for friends or coworkers. Cute keychains and etc etc etc

I am a bit of a plant collector and I love to visit all of the shops in the 5 boroughs of NYC, this is my favorite plant shop! Especially for small Hoyas! And I love the location and that first time plant buyers shop here too! I never leave empty handed, even when I have tried. She has super cute gifts too, not just plants.

So impressed! So nice to see a shop where the plants are so well cared for and not just somewhere to push out plants before they die or rot.

Great selection of rare plants and honestly price is extremely fair, especially for a brick and mortar shop and the size of the plants. Rare syngoniums and more "common" houseplants are priced incredibly well.

Shop owner is super nice and knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. She is also very ethical on sales and transparency and cares about her customers.

Definitely worth the trip even just to awe at the collection in the back. Don't miss the baby plant section too for some great deals and the "take/leave a cutting" area!

Plant Corner has probably taken 1st place in my heart as my favorite plant shop. I’ve explored nurseries, plant shops, and big box stores all over nyc and westchester, and plant corner has one of the most diverse selection of rare plants, among more common houseplants 🙂 I love how there’s always something new on a regular basis and surprises with every visit. What I love most about the store is the opportunity to get baby rare plants for more affordable prices (compared to large established plants), as well as cuttings that Jira propagates on her own. Overall the prices here are very fair. They’re not big box dirt cheap, but also not over the top/hiked. I would describe it as typical NYC prices, and likely cheaper or same value as what you’d find online - with the added benefit that these plants are already acclimated to NY weather (vs coming from hot and humid places like FL which risks shock). All the plants are very healthy and has been in Jira’s care before she sells them to new homes! This ensures that there are good roots and growth. The first few plants I bought here were doing so well after bringing them home that I had to go back and entrust my investment with more plants!

Some plants that I’ve gotten at nurseries go through shock when they get to my apartment, I assume because humidity and temps are just way too different. But I feel that plants coming from Plant Corner won’t die on me as easily. Jira is also very knowledgeable about plants and offers great advice. They also carry many planters, soil mixes, plant food, etc!
