I reached out to Walker Landscaping about the potential of hiring them to do three relatively large landscaping projects for me. You would think that that would give them plenty of incentive to try to earn my repeat business. I ultimately hired them to do one of the projects (re-graveling my driveway). Bottom line, I won’t be using them again.

If I were to give them a grade, I’d give the workers a C+, but I'd give ownership a a “D” at best due to poor communication, lack of follow-thru, and too much emphasis on earning a dollar and not enough on delivering a quality product. The actual wasn’t that bad, just not complete. Interaction with the owners was a different story.

When I expressed my concerns (with pictures), the owner was totally disinterested. Didn’t even personally come out to look at the job. When I did finally get him to engage, his repeated response was “are you talking about appearance or functionality? Uhm, for the emount of money I paid, I want both. They had actually missed the mark for both. After a couple of no-shows they did FINALLY send a crew out to do a touch up.

At the conclusion of the rework, they just left without even telling me they were “done.” The fact that I wasn’t sure if the work was complete tells you everything you need to know about the quality of the re-work. The only way I knew they were done was when I received an invoice for the balance due from the owner within 30 minutes of them leaving the job site, not even a call to see if everything was satisfactory. I wasn’t impressed. I’ll borrow the equipment and finish the job myself. Hire them at your own risk.

Seth has plowed our driveway for several years and we have only ever had excellent service. He is able to get there quickly, and make sure our driveway does not narrow, as it can do if not plowed correctly. I would absolutely recommend Walker Lawn and Landscaping.

I have used Walker Landscaping since 2021 for snow removal at my home/property. They do excellent plowing. Their drivers listen to where I want the snow pushed to. I am on their plow list so I never have to worry about when my new snow will be removed.

I also used them this summer to level my ground to prepare for the area I will build a deck. They also leveled the area for my new yard. The guys did an excellent job in leveling the ground.
