I worked with Tyler Rutter and am very happy with the attentiveness, knowledge and ability to get on board with personal style. Texts are answered promptly and any issues are addressed right away. Tyler took my vision and made it better. Just the overall thoughtfulness in the whole project is a refreshing change from past experience. They took care of irrigation and electric as well.

We were gone for the summer and came back to a perfect backyard. The last project we did with another company looked decent when they were finished and you could imagine the space filling in, but it never got there. It all sort of fell apart and we were pretty disappointed. Tyler made the space look great right away and now months later it looks even better. And the pricing is competitive too. Can’t recommend them enough.

I cannot recommend Plant Professionals enough. After they did an amazing job on our neighbor's yard we had them come give us a quote for a full backyard makeover. They were incredible to work with. Always here and on time, always accommodating yet professional, knowledgable, the list goes on. The crew did impeccable work, and we have a resort-level backyard of our dreams. From the design to the tree selection, - I'm a picky plant nerd - to the installation, everything was on point. They made our vision better than we could have ever imagined. We highly recommend Plant Professionals if you're looking for help redesigning your property's landscaping. They are professional, responsive, and they provide great customer service. We used them this summer to redesign our front and back yards and it was money well spent. They are not a cheap option, but they provide a high quality product AND high quality service. You certainly get what you pay for.

Robby and Tyler responded to our initial inquiry very quickly and promptly booked an initial appointment to discuss the project. They subsequently provided an estimate based on that conversation (they gave us exactly what we asked for). Unfortunately, that was more than we wanted to spend, but they worked with us to lower the cost while giving us a design that still addressed our priorities. In that process, they were great about explaining which items that we should keep in the project and others that could easily be changed. At no point were they pushy about specific items (i.e. needing to buy expensive plants that would push up the price), which is rare in Miami.

They kept their word about starting the project in the time frame in which they initially quoted us and regularly followed up with us about the project's status in the weeks in between the time we agreed to go forward and the start date. Their crew began promptly at 7am each morning and put in a full day for each of the three days that they worked on our property. Every member of their team was very nice and respectful. Robby and Tyler dropped by our house twice a day to check on the project and keep us informed about how everything was going.

Most importantly, the quality of their work was excellent. Our yard looks fantastic now and we are very happy with everything that they did. The project was an expensive one, but it was worth every penny.

In the Miami area, you often deal with shady contractors who don't show up for appointments on time (or at all). Or, they tell you that a project will take three days, then it takes seven or eight because they show up the first day and then disappear for two without a heads up or an explanation why. Or, many contractors don't provide the service or the product that they promised when you hired them. Plant Professionals show up when they're supposed to and provide the services and the products that they pay them for. They're a breath of fresh air.

Tyler, Robbie and their team were exceptional to work with. My husband and I had two very different styles on what we wanted for our landscaping. I wanted a minimalistic design while my husband wanted a very full tropical design. Tyler was able to find the perfect balance of our two styles with lots of colorful plant options. The team was very efficient and transformed the front of our house in less than 2 days. We are extremely happy with the results and will be hiring Plant Professionals to do the landscaping for our backyard soon.

Plant Professionals is at the very top of the short list of professionals who exceed my highest expectations. We just installed a new pool and needed to landscape the entire backyard from scratch. My wife also hoped to freshen up the front yard, but that was not as big a priority. We found Plant Professionals online by dumb luck and it was the best decision we could have possibly made.

First home run: Creativity.
We had a vision of the type of landscaping we wanted – basically a tropical paradise with only garden, no grass – though we had no clear picture of how to make it happen. My wife described this very general vision and most remarkably Robbie and Tyler listened with great attentiveness. We also asked for some privacy by somehow screening our large front windows. Long story short, Tyler and Robbie actually understood what we were trying to achieve, and in addition to actually listening, they obviously cared enough to come up with the most dazzling, diverse, eye-catching design for both our front and back yards. It is nothing short of a work of art, and all the details, including a path and pergola were all imagined in the design.

Second home run: Responsiveness.
From the time that Tyler sent us the design, including photos of the plants and trees that he envisioned to bring our project to life, he was available for every question, comment, and reminder. He took every call and responded almost immediately with any concerns. When there were minor setbacks in timing due to circumstances that were beyond his control, he and Robbie actually accepted responsibility and made the schedule work.

Third home run: The Team
Everyone from Robbie and Tyler, the two Jasons, Pops and his dad and anyone whom we might have missed by name but remember by attitude, these people all acted like they CARED. They were deeply respectful and pleasant and just delightful in every way during the installation process. It seemed that every detail mattered to them. It was a remarkable change of pace as we have done many projects since we moved to this home three years ago. We have not had a crew like this before and we don’t know if we will be this lucky again!

Finally: It is a great pleasure to recommend them to the many neighbors who have commented on our project, and especially to members of our family who have projects ahead. It was a rare gift to find a company with both a work ethic and general humanity that is displayed in how they treat one another as well as their customers. It starts at the top and everyone clearly follows suit. What a find. Plant Professionals is a homerun.
