The owner is nice. We did have quite a few issues though. Huge holes and gaps in between the sod place was scattered throughout my front and backyard. Big enough to fit mr hand inside and for my toddler to get his foot stuck.
It was filled in with dirt but that was after I mentioned it when I received the final invoice. I thought it would have been addressed before billing us. It’s been over a month and the grass hasn’t started to fill in the holes yet.

We were charged an additional $1500 that was not communicated to us and a big surprise upon receiving the final invoice. That was close to 25% more than we were told. We were able to just pay cost but again, it wasn’t mentioned to us at all throughout the project and we didn’t expect to pay hundreds of dollars more.
He was honest enough to own his mistakes and attempt to correct them (after I addressed them first) which is more than I can say from previous contractors.

We originally planned to do this project on our own. We had a sod and top soil supplier ready to place an order. But we decide to hire a company to save us time and a headache. With hindsight, we should have done it ourselves to save us the trouble of getting the problems resolved and saved thousands of dollars.

It is extremely difficult to find a great landscaper these days, especially one that is priced competitively, gets to you fast and does as wonderful of a job as Jorge did. If you need tree trimming or lawn care, you know who to call!

Great landscaping company! I started using them earlier this year as my previous company was very inconsistent with their service days; never knew when they would show up. Two of my neighbors used Home Grown and I was always impressed with their consistent service date and time not to mention the outstanding quality of their work. It was a natural to go with Home Grown and I even referred 2 of my other neighbors who also signed up with them.

I recently needed to re- sod my backyard which they gave me a very fair price and did a fantastic job on the install.

Home Grown Lawn Service has been so amazing! Matt is professional, knowledgeable and works really hard. He has been mowing my lawn and it was Al great. Plus, I listed my house so Matt updated my shrubs, weeded, and mulched. My lawn looks great! I don’t have a before picture, but below is an “after” picture. Matt also buried my gutter drain, so now I don’t have that large drain visible in yard. Thanks, Matt!

This company really did a great job. Our front yard has two oak's that make the overall landscaping a difficult task and HomeGrown made it look great every time they came. They are reasonably priced, especially the yard cleanup. Some people may view the price as high but it was well worth it with the amount of leave sin our yard. HomeGrown is a great company and nothing but good things to say!
