One of our favorite places to dine or grab a cup of coffee (iced or regular). The bay view is amazing for sunrise and the breakfast is fantastic. We were there 2 days before the storm. They will build back and will once again be a favorite spot. The live music and dinner is also a fantastic experience.

We absolutely LOVE this place!!! We drove by this restaurant so many times and never stopped... Don't make the same mistake, STOP what an adorable quaint restaurant. The customer service is AMAZING. The food is tasty, ice cream is refreshing and full of flavor, and the view is beautiful. There's indoor and outdoor seating if you have someone that's handicapped and you want to eat outside you can park within feet of the outdoor seating. The couple times we've eaten here, they've had live music, but it wasn't so loud that you couldn't enjoy a conversation. The Hamburger and Fries were good and the Philly Cheesesteak was delicious. My husband had the Turkey Club and the Shrimp and Fries and liked them both. The bathrooms are inside and very clean. Love Love this place. I definitely recommend stopping for a bite to eat and / or ice cream!!!

July 2024 ~ My husband Bobby and I stopped by around 4 after being at the beach just for drinks… We ended up staying til after 8 as we enjoyed the atmosphere so much we called Sean, our son, to join us! We stayed for dinner which was wonderful. The fish dip to start was perfectly creamy & smoky served with soft, warm pita triangles and sliced carrots & celery. Both my son and I had the lightly blackened Mahi sandwich on toasted Cuban bread and I can tell you it was absolutely delicious! A nice thick piece of fish cooked perfectly & very moist! Fries with spicy remoulade sauce accompanied them! My husband had the burger and he said it was one of the best he’s ever had. The owners, Carol & Pete and daughter Katie were so gracious and friendly! We loved them! Our server Sydney was spot on… very friendly & knowledgeable and right there when we needed her! The decor and ambiance are outstanding! you truly feel like you’re in an island paradise! The restaurant is located right on a finger of the Lemon Bay Aquatic Preserve and we did get a glimpse of a Manatee! Do yourself a favor and drive down Beach Road toward Englewood Beach and turn in to The Beachcomber Trading Post!! Believe me you’ll thank me! ENJOY!! Linda Sept 2024 ~ Enjoyed drinks & a light dinner last night with the most awesome view! If you have not been to The Beachcomber Trading Post you are missing the boat! They have the BEST food, VIEWS and AMBIANCE! Great music playing while relaxing in a tropical setting... right on the water!! They're open from 7AM to 8PM.. serving breakfast til 11 then lunch/dinner... Kylie was our server last night and she was perfect!! We enjoyed the smoked fish dip and it was really good.... not too smoky, just right .. could taste the fish but not 'fishy'....YUM! We loved the Mahi sandwich also... & great fries! Hate to talk it up so much as I will be sad when we can't get in as it's toooooo busy! ROAD SIGNAGE NOT GOOD... You could/might drive right by the entrance... just on the left as you come over the last South Beach Rd bridge... GREAT FOOD & ADULT BEVERAGES!!

Every time we are in the area we come here several times. Especially after the hurricanes you should support our community! They are such nice people and they really make an effort! The sunrise breakfast and the mimosas are outstanding and they also offer dairy free milk for coffee which is highly appreciated!
I hope I’ll be able to grab my morning coffee right before attending the yoga session at the beach again in April this year. Fingers crossed for a quick recovery at Englewood Beach! ❤️‍🩹

September 2023:
It was so nice to be here. We had the best start to the day. The food was delicious, quickly prepared and the view is unbeatable. Watching the sunrise and the dolphins while having breakfast. Do I have to say more? The people there are also super nice. We’ll be definitely back next year!

Service and the outdoor patio were amazing! Good was good, not great, nothing wrong. Parking can be a pain even on moderately busy times and every parking lot nearby has a "parking for ___" only because parking is so limited in the area and the owners are pretty strict on that. Best option is across the canal (down the road a little ways). Chadwick park. We went for a slightly later lunch and had no problem finding seating, even outside. They had live music even on a weekday!

We had the pineapple vanilla soft serve Bacardi dark rum drink and it was delish. I had the blackened grouper sandwich on Cuban bread with a side salad and my friend had the philly cheesecake with fries. The grouper was real grouper and the bread amazing. The fries hot and crispy. We loved it and will go back. The atmosphere was really nice and the playlist of jimmy buffet and the like was perfect. Our first visit and we will go back

Really appreciated stopping here after a day on the beach at Stump Pass. We all got either grilled or blackened fish sandwiches. Fries were good. Portions great. $120 with tip for food and drinks. Great views, comfy chairs. Service was great as well. Order at the food truck and staff bring to your table.
My only 'issue' was paying up front and being asked to tip before we even sat down. Not sure what an alternative would be, just felt rather fast food ish.
However, that's my only feedback. Overall a great time.
