They started a carport construction and left the job incomplete. They will not respond to me and have blocked my phone number. They contracted the job to A Team LLC and they have also ignored my request to complete the job. I have notified my community of the problem with the 2 contractors.

What I've had done by them I'm happy with BUT THEY HAVE NOT FINISHED , HE SAYS HES COMING BACK BUT MONTHS PASS , JORGE SAYS HES GETTING AFFIDAVIT FILLED OUT BY HIS ENGINEER AND THAT WOULD ACT AS OUR INSPECTION , sounds not legal , Jorge lies and has a religious website, tries to teach Bible , but yet me lies and lies , he will go to hell I'm sure of it.

The inside of my house has been at a stand still it has been half done for months. Some of my TRIM ARE STILL NOT DONE MY CEILINGS ARE NOT DONE, MY BATHROOM, CLOSET. I GET THE WAITING FOR THE OUTSIDE PERMIT. BUT NOT FOR THE INSIDE I called last week and no return call. It has been 8 months and my TRIM and the ceilings need to be done. Wish I could show pictures

Got half way through the project, taking 6 months to get that far, and left with my money. No returned phone calls, emails, etc. Cant get ahold of them. Now I have block walls up, and have to find another contractor. Part of the deposit was to get trusses ordered, and turns out they never even ordered them. Worst contractor experience I've ever experienced. Complete crook.

Hired them to replace my carpeting with wood floors and I was very impressed. I had three different quotes done, and they offered the best price. They completed the job faster than expected. The end result was great. They provide quality work and i will definitely use them again for future projects!

Horrible General Contractor! Low Balls quote to get job and you hardly see him again. Waste of time and money for commercial projects! Can't speak English and scams you for more money! He doesn't have licensed sub contractors working for him nor does he have an efficient crew. He acts as if you don't know anything when you question things and argues with you until you finally allow him to do more work. SCAM!! FRAUDULENT businessman and end result was worse than sub standard. Had to hire another general contractor to FIX EVERYTHING he did. Put our remodel back 2 months!!

BEWARE

I contracted JC Contractors (Jorge Carrasco) to provide 5 sets of engineered, sealed, and permittable blueprints for the construction of a simple commercial interior renovation. The plans submitted to county building department failed initial review and Jorge Carrasco refused to make revisions then quit the project. He simply quit a project, breached his own contract, and abandoned his customer 9 weeks into the job and leaving the us out $10K in lost time, double mortgage, fees paid to him and having to restart the process entirely.

Jorge uses confusion and his inability to speak proper English to convince you into thinking he has your best interest in mind and has all the right answers. This was not the case for me. Always ready to get job started! (or rush you into a contract). He constantly says "you keep making changes" and "this is what I'm telling you", in fact I have been doing his job and supplying corrections to his design work. One day he asked for money to put gas is his truck. He was upset and quit because I did not use his services for the construction, and I'm so glad we did not.

His "Sealed" plans we received contained errors, omissions, and did not meet simple building codes. The Plans failed county building plan examiners miserably because of lots of missing info and mistakes. He refused to make corrections and left me with useless blueprints. The amount of disregard for simple building codes was staggering considering these plans were sealed by HIS engineer. He is a disgrace to the other licensed general contractors holding this title and a menace to the construction community in Sarasota. How he ever passed the Florida State Contractors license exam is a mystery. He has no big crew or company like he implies but does most of the work himself and his son.
