Back onTuesday Aug. 27 th Greg Hendrix knocked on my door wanting to trim our trees. I told him to come back and talk to my father-in-law because he definitely needed the help,that he was 83 years old and has neuropathy and couldn't do it himself anymore.Mr. Hendrix came back and my father n law hired him , and was quoted $9000.00. Before he did any work he wanted $2000.00 up front then after he started he ask my father n law to take him to buy a pole saw and chain saw, a total of $1800.00. Mr. Hendrix said he would do 4 trees for it but my father n law wanted taken off the bill. Then he wanted another $2500.00 and talked in so many circles you could not keep up with what he was talking about let alone what he was planning on doing. I don't know how much he ended up charging him but I do know it was more then he was quoted because my father n law did not want to say how much he spent after telling me $9000.00.Most of his work was good until Thursday messed up one of his fruit trees and when he cut a tree wrong it damaged my father n law's air conditioner housing unit and left limbs dangerously dangling .By Friday when Mr. Hendrix was told no more money he stopped working and did not finish what was agreed upon nor did he finish cleaning up.I called Mr. Hendrix on Friday Sept.6 and asked when he would be back to finish and I told him we raked up all the trash for them already and he said he would be back Monday morning. Monday he stopped by to let us know he would be here Friday morning to finish. Have not seen or heard from him since. How can he sleep at night taking advantage of elderly people like that.It makes me sick !

Quoted 500 for cleaning off the tree branches on the top of the roof then said it would be 1400 for cutting branches from the floor up. Once they started they charged 1400 and only did the 500 job and left. horrible don't do business with Greg Hendrix

My parents, unfortunately were scammed by Gregory Hendrix with Emerald landscaping out of Haines
City. He promised them the moon and never delivered. However, he did try to up the price while my mother
refused. He did remove some moss and limbs from parts of trees, just not all the way around the tree. Gregory promised that Orkin was going to come and spray copper on the trees to get rid of moss. Mr. Green, a Orkin employee comes to my parents house as a representative of Orkin an proceeds to spray all
the trees. He is there spraying for about 2 minutes then leaves. My mother, who happens to be a Orkin
customer calls Orkin and speaks to the manager who informs her that they don’t spray trees! TOTAL SCAM

Con artists…don’t follow through on what they say they will do, do not clean up, cut corners. Let branches fall over neighboring fences rather than do the right thing and send them through the chipper. Avoid this company at all costs!!!

dont ever hire them they are a crook
hired them to do landscaping at my home at shows up with daily workers and takes off to go to other jobs then never completes work then tries getting more money and add on
