I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with Thinline Group. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with this company. I initially paid $2000 as a down payment, with the understanding that the work would be completed within a month and a half. Little did I know that I was in for a rollercoaster ride of frustration and incompetence.

From the beginning, communication was a major issue. I made weekly calls to check on the progress of the design drawing, only to be met with excuses and delays. After two weeks of waiting, I was informed that it would take an additional week to complete the drawing. Fine, I thought, I can be patient. However, reaching out to Carlos, the main contact person, became an exercise in futility. On numerous occasions, the company phone voicemail was set to a Spanish recording, making it even more difficult to get updates.

Each time I called, the completion date was pushed further and further back. After another month of waiting, I was finally told that the septic plans would take an additional month to be drawn. This was the breaking point for me. I suggested that they at least submit the plans with the septic information to get the permit process started. However, it seemed like my suggestions fell on deaf ears, as I was informed a week later that we had never discussed submitting the plans.

At this stage, I was beyond frustrated. I received an email demanding the remaining $2000 payment for work that hadn't even been completed. When I expressed my concern and stated that I would pay once the work was done, Carlos insisted that payment must come first. Realizing that I was getting nowhere with this company, I sent a certified letter reiterating that the work should be completed before any further payment was made.

To add insult to injury, the drainage plans submitted by Carlos were rejected due to missing documentation and inadequate work. Two weeks passed without any contact from Carlos, and I finally decided to cut my losses and hire a new engineer to complete the job. The difference was night and day. The work was finished in just two weeks, and the engineer was professional, easy to work with, and provided constant updates.

I'm writing this review to warn others so they don't have to go through the same ordeal I did. Save yourself the headache and avoid Thinline Group. I wholeheartedly recommend Apex Engineer over Thinline Group any day.
