This is a preliminary review as my project is not completed yet, but this far I have been mostly happy with the work Sean and his team have accomplished. Sean is always available and is typically easily to contact so you know what is going on. His team is tidy and respectful of my neighbors, neighborhood, and property (not all contractors are). Finally, the design process has been a lot of fun. Sean provides your dream proposal and then works with your budget to make sure you get the most bang for the buck you want to spend, although watch the prices of any add-ons you get. Everyone is extremely courteous and professional.

Sean Anderson, designer, artist and visionary! After interviewing several Landscape/Design companies - persons, I then spoke to Sean. I immediately liked his approach; he was excited to provide options and ideas for my yard. He was like an artist with a blank canvas! After talking to me and looking at my yard through map quest, his artistic mind went to work. As I had told him I didn't know what I wanted, other than I wanted to have a very nice yard so I could enjoy. He gave me several versions until we came up with something I could live with and within my budget! When he was done, I had a beautiful yard and a fantastic shade structure that put the finishing touches to my backyard!! love it, love it!!

Today I had a zoom design consultation with Sean from MountainScapers. I was quite pleasantly surprised with this call and approach. I consider my project to be challenging, and previous design consultations with other companies have fallen flat. Sean took the time to understand my needs and desires, and then working with me using a site view of the property, walked through various options that deliver a big wow factor, bridging the discussion with photos of recent projects that illustrated his concepts for my project. I wanted to convert my ugly yard with nothing but right angles to curves and organic shapes. Sean worked with me and converted my concepts and desires into reality. I wanted a curved bar and BBQ - and Mountainscapers came up with a unique design, recommending a shade structure and water feature along with lots of trees and desert tolerant plants (NO CACTUS). Sean was always creative and collaborative recommending improvements to the design and ultimately delivering an environment - no longer just a yard. It's my "outside office" and a space we now use 10 months out of the year.

AMAZING! NO REGRETS! 🙂 Sean was super responsive and collaborate, start to finish; never an awkward moment. Office staff and especially the onsite work crew were friendly and answered all questions. Any minor issues were promptly resolved to satisfaction. As you can see, the pictures don't lie.. just look at that custom gate! Support small businesses that actually care about artistry, craftmanship, and service.

Scope of project: enclosed backyard with block wall + that custom gate, full laser grading and mounding across a large corner lot, removed grass lawn and replaced with full xiroscape rock, gorgeous riprap border. After several heavy rains, drainage is great. Could not be more satisfied! 🙂
