Fantastic company! Very responsive and timely. Unfortunately, the Saguaro in our front yard for the past 38 years was severely leaning in the direction of our house. We were getting ready to leave on a trip. Miguel came out to inspect on a Wednesday evening. On Thursday, while we were on the road, we communicated with Yvonne and arranged an appointment for Friday morning to remove the Saguaro. The work was done in our absence, Miguel sent us pictures of the work and left the area fully intact with no damage to surrounding plants. Very professional company!!

Our 40 year old, 6 foot barrel cactus took a dive to the earth on a hot August, Sunday morning. It was always healthy and produced lovely little "angel" babies that we transplanted throughout our yard over the years. Did we fail to maintain it in some way? Was it the extreme, unprecedented heat that took it? Was it protesting the urban lifestyle that it really doesn't belong in? Maybe it was simply, its end of life and there was nothing that could save it. Regardless, it had to be dealt for safety reasons.
We contacted Miguel via phone, sent pictures and promptly received a quote. He came out two days later and like a surgeon, determining what was best for the patient, he made a very careful decision to give it a chance at life.
It would have been painful to watch such a lovely plant being chopped up and he sensed that it had potential. He and his partner carefully wrapped it in carpet, secured it with heavy duty tie-downs, loaded it on the truck and took it away. He was going to find it a home and if he couldn't well...you can predict the ending.
The reality is that our desert plants are suffering, our water supply is costing us much more and a large cactus is probably better off in a wider open space. Finding Preserving Tree and Cactus Service made us feel good about our removal/transplant. Miguel is a man with a heart, a talent at cactus care and a hard worker. We would highly recommend paying a company like PT&CS to remove any large cactus as they are very heavy and they can be dangerous to deal with. It's especially great that Miguel has a passion for plants.

I had a rather large saguaro in my yard in Apache Junction that decided to start losing limbs, drip black sap and generally become a hazard. It was w-a-y too large for any regular person to remove safely. I called Preserving Tree and Cactus Service and described my situation, and the information was forwarded to Miguel, who worked with me to coordinate a schedule to remove the cactus. He showed up on the day we agreed, at the time I needed him to be at the house. He told me about how long the job would take and promptly got to work. When he was finished, I noticed he had picked up every scrap of the saguaro, dug up the roots and filled in the ground where it had been. The price was very reasonable, and everything went smoothly. This is the way every business should be run and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks Miguel!

My husband and I were very reluctant to call someone in to look at our huge cactus that out of nowhere just started leaning South, with the covid-19 effecting all of our lifestyles ....weighing the risk of inviting someone to our home.... verses losing this gorgeous specimen of cactus that has been growing so happily for so long...we took a chance and we called in this company and we couldn't be more impressed and satisfied. Before Miguel even got out of his truck he put on a mask and he wore that mask the entire process of 5 hours of working away at bracing cutting removing reinstalling prepping a land and returning the ground back to exactly the way he found it. So glad we had faith- nature won!

Miguel and his helper were removing a few saguaro cactus from a neighbor's yard when I saw them. I approached them from the street and asked him what he could do for me, as I had a nine foots spear that I wanted gone from my yard. Within hours he sent me the permit paperwork and the very next day had it gone. Plus he gave me a few dollars, for in my opinion, removing a safety hazard for my clumsy self. Great guys who were very respectful, courteous, and clean. You can't even tell it was there. One of the few companies out there that I would highly recommend.
