I have to say I was surprised to see on Facebook that they had indoor plants, it never even crossed my mind to stop in until then. I am SO glad that I did! The plant selection was great, unique healthy plants for a reasonable price. Barb, the owner, is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be back to buy more plants for my collection soon! I also recommend them for outdoor plants too - my two unicorn trees are still thriving after 3 years!

I stopped by The Garden Market on a whim last week needing some bushes to fill an empty foundation planting area of my home. I couldn’t wait til spring since I want to put my house up for sale soon. Barb was so kind and patient with me! She took the extra time to draw out my space and waited for measurements. We walked the shop grounds together looking for plants that would fit. I was so overwhelmed but Barb made it easy! She even went out of her way to call a local grower for the right size Hydrangea bushes and had her husband dig up a big Globe Arborvitae for me since that’s what I needed and there weren’t any on site at such a late time in the fall. The prices were amazing at the end of the season. Thanks again Barb—I couldn’t have done it without you! Looking forward to stopping by for some winter potted arrangements!

By far our absolute favorite plant shop in DeKalb. Always a joy to come in and talk shop/get advice. They're a treasure trove of knowledge as well and have helped us out on numerous occasions. Great selection and always a bunch of quirky options.

Only issue to solve now is how to make more space in the home for all the plants we come back with!~

I had a really good experience for my first time there! The owner was very sweet and knowledgable and spent lots of time discussing the plants that would fit best with my two cats. The inside is clean, friendly, and inviting. I also walked out spending less than I thought I would've for the various things I bought! Definitely one of the coziest, homiest shops in DeKalb and the owner really takes this place to a perfect 5/5 stars 🙂

About a year ago, I bought a dragon tree from here and I loved how there was directions on the little pot for the care of this little beauty. It has only thrived since I’ve gotten it and I never had an issue with pests from it (unlike other places I have gotten plants from in the past) so when I wanted to find some plants to put in front of my fireplace, I came in and asked for advice on which plants would work best for my lighting. She recommended some snake plants (which is what I actually wanted!). She didn’t have 2 in stock around the same height, but she took my name and number down and got some for me! They look absolutely perfect and are so beautiful! I couldn’t be happier! Still, there were directions put on the pots for each of them (which I absolutely love about this place) so I know that I am confident in the care of these plants and that they will thrive just like my dragon tree has! I can’t express how much I love this place!

The owner, Barb, is super helpful and accommodating. Over the years, this business has special-ordered several plants and trees for us. We have also had them relocate bushes and small trees in our yard. They have great prices and a warm personal touch. The new location is very nice!
