I called them when I was in Downers Grove, Illinois. I needed to move to Phoenix Arizona to retire. I am disabled. When I called, I asked for a quote that included not only the delivery to Arizona, but two months of storage after arriving in Arizona. Basically, I told him I wanted all of this everything and the total before I decide to go with them to move me. He gave me a price of 2200 for the smallest pod they had. That was fine. I thought it’s a little expensive but I’ll do it. I’ll just get it all done and I don’t have to worry about anything else for a while?

I was in in Arizona about three weeks when I got a notification via email that my storage monthly payment was due?! So I called and I explained that I had paid $2200 package and two months of my storage were to be included, and it turns out that they don’t do it that way. It’s a pay as you go, which I was not informed at all at time of purchase, the person kept telling me everything’s included. I asked this question repeatedly because I didn’t want any thing else to pop up!

well, when I called and questioned and explained that I had a package deal, they informed me of the rent for each month as well as the drop off the delivery of the pod to my new residence and the pick up of my pod at my new residence was not included?! I said how much now is the rent here in Arizona. $480.00 a month plus $260 to drop off and pick up?! And I had five days to move my stuff out of storage before I had to pay the 480 needless to say I was stuck paying 480 for one extra month and of course to receive my belongings, I had to pay the drop off fee so it cost almost an extra thousand dollars then what I was quoted to begin with. I don’t like leaving bad reviews for anybody unless they totally deserve bad reviews and in this case I believe in my opinion, everyone who uses this company had better take down the name of the person and make sure that that is your price quote because having this extra payment has put me in a hole of debt.

like I said, I’m disabled and I have a very small monthly income. I was coming here to retire and relax, and as a result of this payment, I will now suffer the consequences of them not explaining the ending just the beginning so get the ending people or go to someone else ! How unfair and how scandalous can someone be to a senior who is disabled or really anyone, a parent with children!? in this day it’s more important than ever for us to stand together as one! people are being taken advantage of every day and it needs to stop and it won’t until we stand together as one people! Be kind to everyone because you don’t know what they are going through. kindness is free spread it everywhere! Thank you for your attention if you got this far and God bless everyone.

PODS communicated via phone, text and email for all deliveries and pickups. Not only did they communicate perfectly, PODS executed every aspect perfectly. If you don't mind packing and unloading, PODS is the perfect solution. PODS also will recommend labor services at each part of your move. 11 out of 10 rating.

I don't know about the company services, but their drivers are disrespectful on the road. I have had on cut me off on the loop 202 in Arizona about a month ago and then another right out side my work place a different driver cut the corner and almost hit my truck. The only thing he did was honk at me, no sorry, wave, kiss my A$$. I work for a service company and I know that how important at this time in our world how service needs to be fixed. PODS can start with their drivers. Both driver thought intimidation and laughing was the fix to something they did.

Absolutely blown away by the effortless process. (If only loading and unloading were so easy ?)
When my pod was delivered, Anthony spent all kinds of time and effort to get the shifted contents unshifted so the door would open. Such above and beyond service deserves 6 stars! There was not a single hiccup in the logistics. Everything as promised. I moved from OR to AZ and hope I never have to move again (I will, but hope doesn't die easily) but if I do, PODS is the one and only choice for me.

Everybody I actually had contact with was pleasant and did their best to address any complaints I had.

My problem was with the company as a whole and some of the operation, not the individuals. Both upon pickup and delivery the time frame was not posted or sent to me as they said it would. Had to call multiple times to find out timeframes. Again both with delivery and pickup the time frame changed and there was no alert sent out in any way to inform me of the change. The customer service individuals were great in fielding my questions and complaints, and the answer they gave me was that their warehouse updating things and my account are not connected. I personally find this to be a copout. I can know almost the exact place of a package from any parcel delivery entity, but they can't connect their warehouse system with the customer system to update them? Sounds like a cheap answer for how much I paid to move my belongings. I was also told that it takes 8 days to move a pod the distance mine was moved, so I picked a day that would put it in the destination before I started my new position, the day it was picked up I called to confirm this and was then told it takes 11 days. So make sure they actually put in the order for delivery, pickup, and the destination delivery or you'll get told different amounts of travel time.

My belongings arrived, and there was no damage. So no problems with the experience of delivery, pickup, or transportation.

I have used PODs at least twice with moves before and had no issues at all but with my most recent experience I will NEVER use PODs again. On 4/14 I booked to have a POD dropped on 4/23 and was told by the chat agent that I could cancel without any hassle before the delivery date with no fees. This sounded pretty good so I booked the order and thought over the expense. On Monday 4/18 I found a cheaper option so I decided to cancel through the chat bot. That associate was pretty helpful. Asked me why I was cancelling and then said no problem your order is cancelled. I even filled out a survey saying how easy and great my experience was and didn't think about the order again. Well here we are on 4/23, I get a call from a blocked number saying my driver will be dropping a POD off in 15-20 minutes. I call customer service in a panic because I had cancelled the order so the rep put me on hold and reached out to the location. When she got back on the line she said don't worry everything is cancelled and the driver knows about it. I go to brunch and when I get home what is blocking the entire driveway? A CANCELLED POD...I call customer service back they could not find notes about the call this morning or the incident report I was told had been filed. All they could see was a cancellation from this morning with no scheduled pick up date because it should have NEVER BEEN DROPPED OFF IN THE FIRST PLACE. Here I am with a POD blocking the driveway and of course they can't pick it up until Tuesday 4/26. The 4th customer service rep (3rd one today) was knowledgeable in trying to resolve my issue but to be honest the damage has already been done. There is also a charge for $405 pending on my account because of all of the mistakes. I will NEVER use this service again or recommend ANYONE I know use it.
