This is hands-down the best nursery in the Boston area. Wonderful Japanese maples, the best hosta selection and lots of interesting native plants. I have been going for years and always learn so much from the owners and staff. The display garden is one of a kind and better than all the estate gardens I have toured.

I really just can't say enough about this place. It was amazing. The people were super friendly. And they have the widest selection of hostas I've ever seen! I highly recommend. You will definately not be disappointed!!

Hands down Cochato Plant Nursery is the greatest place to purchase hostas. The potted plants are incredibly healthy with good root systems. They carry dwarfs, small, medium, large, and jumbo in all colors, shapes and textures. The owners and staff know an incredible amount of information and enthusiastically share their expertise. Also, the display gardens are absolutely gorgeous. In addition to the hostas, they carry shade loving plants, including natives. A must visit nursery.

I love gardening and recently found Cochato Native Plant Nursery. It is by far the most enjoyable Garden center I have ever visited. The owner Chuck is so personable, he taught me and my daughter about the many plants they carry. The walking Garden paths at the Nursery have beautiful Koi ponds that are so serene and peaceful. The many years of work and the love of gardening has transformed the area into a magical oasis. The store has a picture of what the property looked like in 1990 and the transformation is impressive. The Nursery itself carries many plants specialty plants you will not find at other gardening centers. Many of these plants are on the walking paths as well so you can see what they look like when they are established. If you enjoy gardening this place needs to be added to your bucket list. It is a true Gem. My one tip is put their address in your GPS the entrance sign is so small you could easily drive and not see the sign.

What a lovely place! This nursery isn't just a place to buy plants. They have a most beautiful swath of land, and they have done incredible things with it! They have a beautiful labarynth-like garden with multiple pathways that interconnect, complete with a koi pond and several water features. What a great way to show what you can do with the beautiful plants they sell! We spent an hour just walking around their garden before even looking at their selection of plants.
The plant selection is vast and beautiful as well. They have many varieties of perennial plants, shrubs, bushes and trees. What a great place to outfit your yard with luscious flora!!!
