I love this nursery. I feel like I am in Costa Rica jungle when I am there. I love the koi fish pond. There are a lot of tropical fruit trees with different varieties. Everyone is knowledgeable about tropical plants, especially the owner. I highly recommend this nursery.

Professional and friendly, the delivery option is awesome. Jorge even saved me from planting the black bamboo incorrectly by taking the extra time to tell me more about the plants care in my specific location. The plants look great and even have some new shoots already poking from the soil.

Incredible selection of trees, palms, and plants not commonly found everywhere else - with very fair prices! We were friendly greeted a few times by the workers and Jorge was incredibly nice and helpful.. we will be buying multiple things for our backyard . Skip the big box stores and come here !

Plant lover's best kept secret in the valley. I have been buying tropical and subtropical plants from Shamus O'Leary since 2014 or so and I keep coming back. There is always something new to see and checkout. This is also one of the few nursery in the valley where the staff knows what they're talking about. Walk around the property and you will see many mature tropical fruiting trees that has been growing in soil for many years.

Go there if you want to recharge, get inspired or just simply want to escape into a tropical paradise in the middle of a desert.

Don and the crew are amazing at what they do. They’re all very knowledgeable when it comes to what to feed, how to water and when to shade. I’ve purchased numerous trees here, and if you follow Don’s instructions, your trees will grow and prosper for years to come. Also, this is important; when you buy a tree, you should really get bags of soil, worm castings and compost, you’ll thank me and Don later!

I heard about Shamus from a fellow coworker. Once I had my house built, I went there to purchase a mango, persimmon, and magic fruit tree in the span of about a month. We had the most wonderful experience learning about the care and planting of our fruit trees especiallyaround our chickens, tortoises, and dogs. It took us about 10min to find an employee to assist us initially as the place was pretty busy. The employees that we spoke to are very knowledgeable about the different fruits and trees. I would highly recommend this place to a newbie looking to get some plants/trees for their yard.

Love this nursery. Super helpful staff and a large selection of exotic plants you won't find anywhere else in the valley. A horticulturist's dream. The nursery itself also doubles as a botanical garden with its own koi pond. It's all beautifully arranged. A testament to the knowledge and care of the people working the location. If you're tired of seeing the same old stereotypical desert plants everywhere (I'm looking at you Oleander) then I highly suggest seeing what this place has to offer. They may have a privacy hedge or tree that you rarely see and that none of your neighbors have.
