The Gardens Rehab & Care Center - Kingman, Arizona

Well I was a patient at the gardens for about two weeks thinking I was going to get good rehab —- wrong - the rehab room is way too small and the therapists joke around more then work .. they cram u in a small rehab room and tend to other patients in there as well so ur time is not really one on one .. also rehab should be 7 days a week not 5 and with hardly any rehab time ..
the room was a refrigerator that I was staying in and old and very depressing . The staff was extra nice and so were the aides in the day . The night aides were kinda questionable but they did tend to me when I needed them . My call button was broke since the first day I had arrived there and maintenance never attended to it . Just unplugged and plugged it in that’s it ..
I’m not bashing the gardens rehab only but I really think that all those places are a nightmare period .

I recommend everyone because they take care of my grammar, so well, big danger. They hope you get dressed this recovery so much better they tell us everything. When she needs help, they will give her help. They will help her every day. This is the best we have, Time. in the staff so nice in the Go to the rehab

Grandmas only been here for 5 days (fell and broke her hip on concrete) but so far shes happy with her care. Place seems clean and when I visited nurses were checking in frequently. Also all the staff were really friendly and still paused to help me even when they seemed busy with a task.

She is fed well and they get some form of choices for their meals. Food isnt the greatest she compared the food to microwave meals, but thats pretty typical for these places.

Also this is her second time at the gardens. She came for her knee replacements. She was cared for adequately the first time too.

Do NOT ever leave your loved ones here!!! My Mom was moved here for one day after she was released from the hospital after she broker her hip. She was sent here to rehab, but they do not even have a physical therapist there. They also have no dietician, so if you have any diet restrictions, that is just too bad because everyone gets fed the same terrible meals. My mom was left in an old school crank style bed and they kept telling her they would change it, but after 24 hours nothing was done. She was left all day sitting in a wheelchair uncomfortably with her hip in great pain. They refused to let her use a walker until she could see their physical therapist, even though the hospital let her use one there. After 24 hours my 72 year old diabetic mother checked herself out AMA and went home to be cared for by her loved ones until she is better. This place is terrible and should be shut down!!! Also they will not let you post a review without giving at least one star...consider it a negative please or possibly the middle finger to this awful place!

Some of the most incompetent providers I’ve ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. I work with an agency that deals with the Gardens and the fact that this place is allowed to take care of people is crazy. For the love of god , don’t send your loved one here if you can help it. These people are lazy incompetent crooks and they need to be investigated.

Extremely well kept inside and out. All staff and employees cheerful and very friendly. My wife has been with the gardens for over two years since suffering from a stroke. I've seen staff and employees going the extra mile not only for my wife but also for many others. Thank you all. R. ABLER

My Grandmother is here and since she has been here it has been nothing but bad. First the staff is no where to be found when she needed to go to bathroom and also she got tired of waiting for the nurse she got up and fell and fractured her arm. Then they were trying to make sure they came in to her room like 2 to 3 times to check on here when we were there visiting. Then we came to visit again and she had a black eye because we were told they were trying to mover her walker and accidentally hit her in the eye and now this is the last thing that will happen to her. We are look for another place to enroll her in but somewhere else not Kingman just horrible service and HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place dont put anyone there.

My grandmother was brought home from there. They did not give us her belongings. We had to call and ask and then they said they found them, her wallet was also missing $180. While in their care for 3 weeks she also was not taken out of bed nor able to use the restroom the amount of urine that was cathed from her was unreal. It took two and a half bags to drain her bladder from not being able to use the restroom. and now due to their negligence she has a raging UTI!! This place is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. Honestly it should've been shut down back when I worked there 15 years ago...Prime example why I walked!! Mind you my grandmother was only there for rehabilitation and is now sent home on hospice!!!
