Dan was INCREDIBLY helpful and provided detailed plans for our DIY fireplace. His Instagram page is very inspiring -lots of examples of plans and finished projects! It’s hard work and takes time but we are absolutely loving our new fireplace. We built ours to run on propane gas or wood burning. Thank you Dan for all your help!!!

Dan customized our fireplace plan within a week. He is so personable and fantastic to work with and always available along the way. My husband had no masonry experience at all and was able to complete in about 4 weekends. You will not find a better value anywhere else. We saved thousands of dollars purchasing Dan's DIY step by step plans. If we can do it anyone can!!

Backyard Flare LLC, is amazing. I am new to the home owner world and wanted to enhance my yard with a fireplace and outdoor kitchen. Dan was great throughout the build process. I can't believe how much time he was willing to spend with me after buying the plans. It was easy to adapt his blueprint to fit a different size space. Upon deciding the want for an outdoor fireplace, I reached out to local masons and contractors for pricing. After receiving quotes back, all in excess of $5,000.00, I was sure there had to be a way to execute this project yourself. While researching DIY outdoor fireplaces, I stumbled across Backyard Flare. I immediately reached out to Dan, and could not be happier with the experience from that point. He answered questions not only prior to purchasing plans for my Pima II fire place, but also provided timely answers to questions throughout the course of construction. Plans are very detailed, and clearly identify each step in the process. I have recommended Backyard Flare to family and friends who have seen the finished product. Nowhere else are you going to find plans and drawings like this for the price. It is a lot of work, but be diligent & you will have something to make memories around for a long time.

I've been waiting a few years to finally buy a set of plans....I combed through them after I printed them off and while a few things may be a bit challenging for an amateur like myself, they are detailed enough for me to get done. I emailed a question and the gentleman that operates this place is very helpful and very quick in response. For any future builds like this I will definitely use this place.
