The website / process to appeal real property taxes was built incorrectly clicking links in circles with no success. To appeal RESIDENTIAL property taxes you had to click on the "Appealing Business Property Link". Not cool and misleading to taxpayers especially when 2022 property taxes skyrocketed. In contrast El Paso County process and communication was flawless.

Try calling any of the numbers listed. The message will always be that you have reached them after hours or on a holiday but can get help through their auto-system. Then silence and your call will be cut off. How are we supposed to reach them then? I have noticed that this issues has been reported by other users many times before, however nothing has been done to correct the issue. This is only a reflection of a dated and inefficient public office. We are paying with our taxes for this service however the staff always treats you like they are doing you a favor. Just awful.

This website works well enough.
To those who complain that it is hard to use:
It is NOT hard to use, it is simply not intuitive.
I got some news for you, Sunshine: It's not SUPPOSED to be intuitive.
Imagine you own a house and your ex is trying to track you down; The lack of intuitive elements to this site will slow their attempt to dox you.
The lack of intuition of the site is a protective measure.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Ramona in the county Assessors office. She went above and beyond what she needed to do to help us file some very important papers and we are very grateful. Thank you for your outstanding customer service.
I also wanted to state that Jerry DiTullio was very rude to Ramona when we went into the Treasurers office for a signature. His attitude seemed very unprofessional for a public figure.

Just tried to check information on recent sales. When did the Assessor Office change the search setup? Wow confusing. Printing a report on my single property took 5 pages of paper. Only required one page under the previous system. Seems like the change was designed more to confuse rather than improve. The old system worked - why change what works?

WTH? Why do calls during business hours get a recording saying you have reached "us" after business hours or during a legal holiday? Just a terrible, terrible service, Jeffco. Do better. Be Best!
