I bought 3 shrubs, 1 big tree and one ornamental tree. Jim was amazing with lots of knowledge. We scheduled them to come plant a tree so I will post an after review too.

I've picked up landscaping materials from hardware stores in the past, and plants have died, despite following directions, watering, etc. One thing I love about Sherwood's Forest is that none of my plants have died, but and there's a 2 year warranty on trees and a 1 year warranty on hardy plants. Another thing that's been great in the recent years is that they keep their inventory online, and the you can look up the types of plants. This has been fantastic, because places like Kemper Gardening Center and other websites describe conditions and plants, but finding the type of plants they describe at big box stores is IMPOSSIBLE. I went yesterday to pick up a few specialty trees, and was really impressed with the service and knowledge. The person helping me appeared to be extremely knowledgeable about local conditions, plant strains and 'how to' aspects of gardening... more than I've ever seen. Needs were exceeded, plant availability was good, and prices were competetive. I'll be going back!

Sherwood's Forest boasts a large selection of fairy garden supplies and has many of them set out in it's very own large fairy garden which is darling to look at. The kind staff was happy to help me load bags of soil into my vehicle. They also had good selection of pots, although the prices were quite steep compared to other garden centers on the same road.

I had been to 3 nurseries looking for Fire Chief arborvitae and burgundy barberry that can handle part shade. I struck out everywhere until I came to Sherwood's Forest. Within 5 min I had a full cart and am thrilled with my purchases. Employees were all very friendly and helpful. Update: I've been back twice today already and came home with 3 trees I'm really excited about finding (and totally missed yesterday). I haven't seen this tree at any other nursery, even substantially larger ones I've visited recently. Sherwood's Forest will be my first stop from now on because of the unique varieties they carry!

Sherwood's Forest offers the best selection and quality products for all planting needs. The staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Dave and his staff offered multiple suggestions for planting in my shady front yard and my full sun backyard. I return every year for beautiful, healthy annuals, mums, and more.

I have used Sherwoods Forest for many years. I love it there. I find it very easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The way the entire place is laid out is easy to navigate. I think it’s got the best quality plants in St Louis. My geraniums are so beautiful. Dave, Jim and everyone at Sherwoods is so helpful. They are all available to answer any of the questions I Might have. Awesome staff. Friendly and attentive.
