When my husband and I purchased our first home, we decided to go with Riverwood and we are so glad we did. My husband is very impressed with the quality of the work and I am very pleased with the way that the quality of the options we picked in the design studio and the way they came together so beautifully on a larger scale. Everyone was so nice and made the process so easy. The hardest part was waiting for the build to be finished. Matt B. was our realtor and he walked us through each step, keeping in communication with us and answering all of our questions no matter how silly or small they seemed. Tina, Mark, and his son (along with the other gentlemen who came out for warranty work) have been beyond prompt in their attention to our requests and were all very, very kind. We would highly recommend Riverwood to anyone looking for their new home!

I had seen several model homes before building with riverwood that I loved however the the construction on my house was poor starting from the outside with the brick I mentioned it and all they said was “we can’t be out here supervising every home” the brick cut out ugly sometimes even replaced w/ filling instead of an actual brick I paid 1 thousand extra for alpine brick as well and there’s several parts that are chipped or some that aren’t but look orange. Of course nothing can be done. The mirror in the master bedroom was also not cut to fit correctly I mentioned it and they said that’s how they’re cut out all the time but again the model homes are actually nice same thing with the counter tops. I had a lot of other issues and alot more pictures but they said they would be fixing them. I just really thought I’d have a perfect home. Really upset with getting the answer “it’s handmade it’s always different in every home”yet knowing the model homes are beautiful. Add on 3 extra pictures of a door they were supposed to come out and fix because it didn’t close right, after they left the door started squeaking every time it was opened come to check and the screws are silver when I paid for all black and not only that but they were in crooked and stuck now I can’t even attempt to fix their mistake. Ridiculous do not reccomend Riverwood for anyone they made my first time home purchase a nightmare from the first day when I walked in to a dirty house full of mud everywhere.

We are still waiting for our refund of $2000 from this company after signing the EM429 termination form which states that the company refunds the money 3 business days later. Well two weeks went by and no one has replied to our messages.

Update 06/15/2024
Good try!! We signed up (me and my husband) our Termination Contract Addendum on May 16th and you guys sent us the refund until May 30th because of my review. The paper says after three business days that was May 22th. The Holiday was May 27th but that was a good try! Lol

I see, you guys removed your response to my first review. You were lying about what really happened with our process but when I confronted you all with “facts” you guys hid your response.
It is so clear to me that your company lacks of integrity, credibility and professionalism.

I can’t rave enough about Riverwood Homes! This is my second time building with them and I absolutely LOVE my home! They have a fabulous show-room/design studio with tons of options and finishes. The quality of their homes far surpass other builder’s in my opinion. My utility bills are super low thanks to the energy efficient windows and insulation they installed. The Superintendent, Wayne went above and beyond to make sure my house was perfect before closing. He met me on site to address all of my questions/concerns and worked tirelessly to fix everything on my final walkthrough checklist. I wasn’t sure if we were going to be able to close on time due to weather constraints but Wayne made sure the job got done and that I was able to move in on time.
