I love to come to this garden center! They are not the most inexpensive but they always carry things I can't find anywhere else. I love to do mixed plantings in large pots and I can find the most unusual and beautiful plants there with which to do it. They're also more informed about the care of plants than your average Walmart garden center. They carry all kinds of plants and also all kinds of pots from small to extremely large!

Stopped in to get topsoil and some annuals and look for shrubs to redo a very large bed today and my experience was not the same as some of the other reviews aside from the quantity of items they carry. My family has owned a garden center in another state and I just happen to know a thing or two about a thing or two when it comes to not only customer service but also running a business like this. I found the manager to be quite curt, abrupt stoic and rude. Not only did she seem that way to us but also to the employee that was helping us figure out the condition of a 30.00 climbing hydrangea or like kind climbing plant which was way overpriced due to the condition. The employee advised us to follow her to find the manager so she could ask her if she would consider reducing the price due to the plants being in poor condition and eaten up by bugs. (NOTE: The employee suggested it due to the poor condition of the plants, which btw is what she should have done and we appreciated her efforts) She indicated to the manager they had been attacked by some type of bugs, which btw was evident by the holes in all the leaves and also the dying leaves. She said to us and then again to the manager they had been sprayed which is great but still no guarantee the plant would survive once we took home. The manager was cold, with very few words and basically stated they were sprayed and so she would not consider reducing and abruptly turned around leaving the employee and us standing there which was unacceptable. I was there to purchase a lot more than what I ended up buying which was a few annuals and some bags of top soil. I decided they didn't deserve any more of our business after that rude exchange. Some may think this post is trivial but that's what is wrong with the world today. No accountability especially in the retail and service industry. She never smiled, made any statements that would make a customer think she was trying to get them the best product at the best price or that she cared we were even at her retail establishment, Nothing, nada nunca. She basically turned around as if I wasn't standing there and buying other items or that I would potentially return. I suppose their business is so good, they dont need additional business or care if some customers return. While I liked the selection they had and the young workers who loaded items were accommodating and polite and also the employee we dealt with in the shaded area of the perennials etc., was helpful, kind and had a good knowledge of plants. Ill never return due to that one rude exchange from the manager and brush-off. I did thank the nice lady who helped us and the young man who loaded up the vehicle. Lastly, I might give advice to that manager NOT to behave like she did today to others especially to the employee in front of customers who was working in the heat but who also managed to hold a smile and show how much she cared for plants. We took our business to Millstone and Quality.

I love that it's "local." Helpful staff. True "garden center" feel. Good, disciplined selection no doubt by necessity b/c of the limited space... but not overwhelming by being huge. Highly recommended.

Everyone here is always so helpful. A huge variety of flowers, plants, and trees. Also anything you could possibly need for your yard or garden. We buy our Christmas tree here every year... they offer many sizes from small to giant, plus they will deliver it straight to your living room and attach it to your tree stand. Great service!! I also appreciate that they are taking customer safety with Covid very seriously and have all staff in masks, and ask that all customers be in masks as well. A+ management.

An older lady helped me greatly with an Orchid I was gifted after my son passed away. She realized how important this plant was to me. She repotted my orchid that had outgrown the pot. She did an outstanding job! I will definitely be using Stringer's Nursery again to repot a couple of more plants I have.
