We had a very large project and knew very little about desert plants, bushes, and trees. Once we found Desertscape Design and worked with Ellen Sneider (founder/owner) we were very happy and at ease. Ellen has a collaborative style and understood and agreed with our vision. She tuned in to our "Palm Springs" vision and style and was very specific about selecting the right sustainable plant materials to suit our taste. Ellen did an amazing job designing and installing our new landscape. She works with a highly professional and knowledgeable landscape installer and crew and we were grateful for her willingness to work within our budget.
Overall, a delightful and positive experience and we would highly recommend Desertscape Design for any and all garden improvements!

Our HOA recently completed a 15,200 turf removal for the perimeter of our HOA and were looking for a landscape designer to help us with the conversion to desertscape with a combination of artificial turf, gravel and new drought tolerant plants. We found Ellen online and loved her website and she had great reviews. We first had her meet our owners and do a consultation walkaround to give us ideas, and then she designed a custom look with her excellent installer, DD Landscaping that fit our location and budget. This was a very smooth and will handled project. Ellen was hands on from start to finish. Her knowledge of desert plants was great. Her lighting skills our first rate. Our landscape has never looked better. From day time to night with the lighting.
If your looking for a top quality landscaper she is it. They started our project on Nov. 1 and were done on Nov. 10, This was a total redo from lighting, sprinklers to stone/gravel. As well as replacing old plants with new.

Her installation crew was second to none. They did a wonderful job planting, sprinklers and lightning. Her crew was on site every day, all day long until the job was complete. Ellen was very hands on even when the temperature was 109 degrees.
