Great selection of plants that actually grow well in our area. If you ask someone here they know a lot about the plants and tips to succeed. I’ve learned so many new plants by coming here. Some of my favorite plants pictures I’ve gotten from them include the year-round red-flowering plant jatropha, a loquat, Panama roses, blue daze, orchid tree, and tabebuia.

A nice mom and pop Nursery, with a huge variety of flowers, vegetables, herbs, bushes, and trees. Knowledgeable employees can help you pick out what will grow best in the space you have. Locally sourced, healthy, hardy plants make this a great experience both while you’re shopping and when you get home and plant your bounty.

We recently had our landscaping updated by Randy and his great team at A Place In The Sun Nurseries, in DeLand. We had a basic idea of what we wanted….. but something was missing. Randy took our ideas and came up with something we really liked- while keeping our main goals of reduced maintenance and switching all our landscape irrigation to drip/spitter irrigation. And as a final touch, we went with some LED lighting in front. The photos don’t do it justice, but you can change the color and intensity of all the lights except the pathway lights. Great job and great people to work with!
