It's unusual for a garden center to have such a HUGE supply and variety of plants, seeds, bulbs, trees, fertilizer and other soil preparation tools, etc, AND have a super knowledgeable staff, but Al's Garden & Home has it all. It's an amazing place for anything needed for garden, lawn, or landscaping and the people who work here are all super knowledgeable and helpful.

ALS GARDEN CENTER WAS AMAZING THE TREES WERE SOOOO BEAUTIFUL GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR I NEVER MISS THIS CHRISTMAS TREE PARTY...OH AND I HAD THE BEST CRAB SANDWICH FROM THE FOOD WAGON..(.not as many food carts this year)

Great place to buy almost anything outside. Thar being said, it's an excellent place for buying pumpkins. It's only $1.99 no matter the size, shape, color, etc. Great price and great selection. Also, I love their hand washing station so that you can get all the mud off before you take them home.

We love all of the Al's Garden Centers. The Sherwood location has a lot to offer.
1. Lots of parking
2. Huge storefront with lots of seasonal offerings
3. Massive outdoor space with every plant possible as well as outdoor furniture.
4. Employees are always friendly
Prices are a little high compared to some other locations, but they back their sales and it's such a nice visit it's worth the extra.

Al's has some of the best displays of plants and patio furniture you will find. The atmosphere is inviting, comfortable and they even had soothing live music when we visited today.

While not the least expensive option for garden and patio decor, everything is priced well for the quality and overall value.

Go visit them and be inspired, and likely satisfied with a wonderful purchase. If nothing else, the visit will brighten your day. Cheers!

I bought 2 hanging baskets the end of March at Al's, they only lasted a month and a half. I watered them and fertilized them as usual and they never grew and look like their dying. I called inquiring what their policy was for me to exchange for healthy looking baskets. The gal said sorry, we can't help you. That will be my last purchase at Al's. Their are many reputable nurseries around. I have purchased at Al's for years. They got too big, I guess. Jim O'Neal
