We are very satisfied customers and wholeheartedly recommend Aluminum Structures to anyone who is considering new, repair, or upgrading their lanai frame, roof, screens and gutters, downspouts and gutter guards.

Now that the above is out of the way....We contacted a few aluminum and roofing companies for the purpose of repairing an existing aluminum roof over our lanai which was leaking at various points i.e. joints, and screw points.

The existing roof was simply thin aluminum panels that overlapped each other. The roof was 14 years old.

What we found was that no one was willing to repair the existing roof, and in the end we pretty much concurred with all of the assessments.

New roof it was. Every company was offering the same 3 1/2 in composite roofing. After reading reviews, getting estimates and interviewing prospective contractors we settled on Aluminum Structures. We had two visits from the salesman, he spent all the time he needed to ensure we were comfortable with the proposal and the work that we were requesting. Aluminum Structures does not sub contract, all employees are W-2 wage employees. The price was fair, the work requested and the performance of explained were the major contributing factors to the decision. In addition, the proposal was very detailed and well written.

What we ended up contracting for: New composite roofing with a 6' x 8' extension, 7" super gutters with gutter guards and downspouts, new super screen on lanai (10 yr warranty), complete screen door rebuilds, an additional frame corner support, replacement of all screws - to stainless - new frame/lanai foundation attachment brackets

Now if anyone has ever dealt with salesman and proposals and then experienced the resulting work you may have experienced a disconnect between what you were told and what you received. The only disconnect with us was the time to completion which did not matter, more on that later.

After the 2 visits from the salesman, and once we contracted with Aluminum Structures a foreman came out to take photos and measurements. That foreman was thorough and he also spent time with us explaining what the process would be and demonstrated an accurate understanding of what we were requesting and expecting.

OK, we were told that the work would take 3 - 4 days. In the end it took 8 days. Now, we could care less because the work was well performed and basically, solid. I would rather have a crew take their time and do good work than to hurry, get done, get out, and perhaps take shortcuts to keep the customer happy.

I am pretty much OCD when it comes to persons performing work for me that as a younger man I may have well tried to perform myself. While I certainly did not interfere and/or was overbearing I did keep my eye on things; workmanship, progress of work, and the overall application of the work. I did ask questions from time to time. I was very satisfied with the way in which the performed the work, quality, functionality and end result.

The crew was polite, professional and on time everyday. If anything changed they would notify us immediately.

After the lanai work as completed we decided to contract with them to add additional gutters to our house and add gutter guards to our existing gutters. Again, excellent work, extremely happy with the result.

Our only "constructive" criticism which was actually brought up by the foreman when he came by for final inspection, was the clean up. They could have been a bit better about the clean up. Basically, the crew worked hard all day, full days which did not leave much time for clean up or the staging of gear/tools at the end of each day. Small issues for us as the inconvenience of a few days is far outweighed by the quality of work and the expected longevity of the work. In fact, I joked with the foreman about the work being so well performed that we would probably never need them again.

Give Aluminum Structures a chance when considering hiring PROFESSIONALS to perform work on your property.

We had a long screened in porch 59 feet long, removed and replaced. This company was wonderful to work with, the employees were polite and perfectionist while building our porch. I would highly recommend them. We no longer have a leaking roof so we can enjoy our porch and not worry about getting wet. Thank you Aluminum Structures LLC.

I had Aluminum Structures do my soffit and fascia for $1900. Today they came out to give me an estimate for (1) gutter along the front of my house, they wanted $1,400! I see they are under new management, that doesn’t mean you rip people off. They did my next door neighbors same gutter, same exact length and size for $400! I would NOT recommend them. $$$$ 10-6-23 I just received an estimate from Worthmann construction for $800 for total job with warranty. Avoid Aluminum Structures at all costs! (Update) 10-15-23 Aluminum Structures replied to my review. They said they warranty all their work? Nice to know. What they didn’t say was why they charged my neighbor $400 for a gutter 45 ft. In length, and why they wanted to charge $1400 for the exact same gutter and exact same length! Like I stated before, I would (NOT) recommend this company for any reason!

When I setup to have aluminum structure build the cage on the back of my house they seemed very responsive snd their price was competitive. After waiting nearly 2 months I called to check on the status and get an ETA on start date……they said they just submitted the permit 2 days ago. That means it took their engineering dept 2 months to draw up my plans. Fast forward another month or so and some guys show up to put up the cage. They did a great job at putting it up. Took them about 3 days. After the first rain I noticed one of the gutters was leaking pretty bad onto the patio. They sent someone out, and I thought it was good……until the next rain….still leaks as bad as it did the first time. Called them again and was told they would get me on the schedule for repair at earliest opportunity. It’s been weeks and still haven’t seen it heard anything. Short story, they aren’t so great at getting things going and don’t seem to care much about fixing issues after it’s “done”.
