We were thrilled with AM Woodland. They just did a full patio and outdoor chimney and kitchen for us, and it’s incredible. Pergola, lighting, fireplace, grill, bluestone on brick - all just gorgeous, in a challenging space.

Their design team (led by Steve S.) had amazing vision for the space and wonderful expertise regarding material options. They got down to our budget and delivered on plan.

Their landscape, electric, masonry and carpentry teams (led by Steve P.) were all top notch, helpful and courteous, great to have at our house. They worked and reworked to get every detail just right. And finished on schedule!

Across the board just nice, reasonable, responsive people, a pleasure to work with. They truly transformed our home by adding a living space that's unique, practical and beautiful. We recommend them highly!

I am long overdue for this review about my journey with the Steves! Steve Shivley (Designer) and Steve Petraglia (Production Manager) are the ‘Team Extraordinaire’ along with their artist craftsmen Gustavo and Fernando who were on site day in and day out throughout my outdoor makeover project.

It all started with my wish to remove a semi-inground pool that was seldom used (the team helped me memorialize the demo!) to create an outdoor oasis, which I now endearingly refer to as my “Puerta Backyarda”. Andy Migacz (CEO) connected me with Steve S. to begin developing various concepts.

After multiple renditions, we landed on quite the project (yes, the scope grew quickly because of my wish list items) which included a complete remodel of the front and back of my home. Steve P. oversaw the installation of new walkways, a large patio, multiple stoops, raised planters, 2 fire bowls, 1 built-in grill, 1 water fountain, a flagstone patio, enhanced landscaping, new sod, lighting (everywhere!), and so many other ‘special touches’ that he helped execute to perfection.

The Steves were extremely patient as they worked to coordinate with another contractor who faced unplanned delays in their construction process. Once AM Woodland was able to put the finishing touches on my project, I was in complete awe of my new outdoor space. My neighbors have commented that I will never need to leave home again since I have a resort in my backyard . . . they are not wrong about that!

From beginning to end, the AM Woodland team did not disappoint. Their professionalism, communication and execution are second to none! Their excitement to bring 'our' project to life is something I will relive each time I use my outdoor space for many, many years to come.

We hired A.M. Woodland to perform several hardscape projects at our home:
1) Replace our asphalt driveway; repair, power wash, and re-sand our sunken granite cobble driveway borders and aprons;
2) Rebuild our front porch bluestone stoop;
3) Power wash and re-sand our bluestone patio.
We are extremely pleased with both the exemplary results achieved and all aspects of the execution of their work. Worked with A&M on a backyard project (landscape & patio) and the results are phenomenal. The crew arrived on time, worked in an efficient manner, and was extremely professional.

Shout out to Tom Modzelewski (A&M Design Director) for all the hard work over the last couple of months. He was always available to discuss any issues or questions that would arise. Extremely professional! When it comes to design, products, and knowledge...this guy know's his stuff.

My only caveat would be to expect some delay between initial consult and mock up of a design (for us - 5 weeks). After settling on a design, took another month before actual construction began (city permits, HOA Approvals, and A&M crew availability).

In the end, very happy with the result. Top quality all around. Will be recommending to friends/family.

Very happy with how Andy and his team at A.M. Woodland transformed our backyard, just in time for our son’s graduation parties. We’ve used a number of landscape design companies with decent but not fantastic success until these guys. From the design ideas to the planting suggestions to the gas fire pit and patio designs, they were professional, worked the long hours around the challenging weather, blended everything well and finishing right on time. We use Woodland for our maintenance as well and couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend for outdoor designs, plantings and maintenance. Very professional and though not the least expensive, worth any additional cost as they deliver what they promise and take great pride in doing so.

A.M. Woodland Outdoor Design designed and constructed an expansion to my patio. They were very receptive to my ideas and wants in the design. They maximized the use of the area involved. The installation team was very professional and very friendly and kind. They too were responsive of adjustments and changes that I wanted to have made once the project began. They were careful and exact in placing all of the stones as well as the plantings. I am thrilled with how it turned out and happily and readily highly recommend their great work. I am truly enjoying my beautiful new patio!
