My wife and I just bought a 2024, Key West 219 FS from Annapolis Boat Sales and what a great experience all around! Brandon Goodman was our point of contact throughout the entire process, and I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism, pressure-free sales approach, attention to detail, timely communication and overall knowledge of the boat and its components. He was able to handle the trade of my 2008 Key West as well as all of the purchasing of the new boat. He was a great advisor on what connections I needed for the new trailer and hitch and answered all the questions the trailer shop needed to get the new trailer setup for my vehicle. He made the entire process easy and stress free including the addition of bottom paint, a marine two-way radio and radar. The workmanship of those additional items looked very clean and were installed very well. Kudos to their great service team! Beth in finance was also easy to deal with and handled all the boat and trailer trade of my old boat as well as all of the purchasing paperwork for the new boat in a single e-mail. The easy transfer and purchase were greatly appreciated! The owner Walter was also very friendly and laid back through the process. He was supportive every time I came to the business but let Brandon be our single point of contact and never tried to pressure the sale which is very appreciated! When we took the delivery of the boat Brandon spent well over an hour going over each component and all the electronics, which was a great tutorial. He has also answered several calls and texts that we have had since taking ownership and each time he has provided us with the answers we needed. Overall, my wife and I are extremely happy we purchased from Annapolis Boat Sales, and I highly encourage anyone in the market for a new boat to give these guys a call or to stop in and look at their inventory. This dealership may be good at selling brand new boats. Most of the reviews are positive. But my experience was not. Yes I was buying an 8 year old boat which by the way I am very happy with. But I really got the runaround with the purchase. I live 2 hrs away. I didn't exactly have time to be running back and forth 3 times till I was finally able to take the boat with me. Buying a used as is I expected to give them a certified check and be on my way with the boat. Not so. Sales team should have been clearer and given honest information from day 1.
Anyway enough said. Just know unless your buying new your not really an important customer.

We just bought our brand new Key West from Hunter Coppell. He was great to work with and made us feel comfortable with our decision to buy the boat. He answered a million questions via text, phone and in person (all from my Husband) and provided us with great customer service. Beth was easy to work with for financing and super nice. My experience with Annapolis Boat Sales was awesome. I was actually about to close on another boat at another dealer until I came here. We saw the boat from the freeway and decided to go check it out. The boat we saw turned out to be exactly what we wanted with all of the options we wanted. We wanted to do a sea trial the very next day which Walter was kind enough to coordinate for us. We met Brandon (who performed the sea trial with us) and he was phenomenal. Great sea trial, very knowledgable and answered everything we asked. I am still in touch with Brandon today asking him questions, which I'm sure he loves. Either way, he is still helping us which we greatly appreciate. Once we decided to buy, Walter and Beth were incredibly accommodating and we were able to close that day!! I can't say enough good things about Walter, Beth, and Brandon. Thanks again for all your guys help!

Bought my boat there knowing I lived 4 hours away but they were the closest Steiger dealer. Unfortunately their post sale support for a remote boat owner is horrible. Week after boat delivered VHF dies and they didnt offer to do a warranty exchange. I had to work with Garmin directly. Windlass had a broken “line stripper” and again all they offered to do was sell me new anchor rode $$$ but again I had to deal with manufacturer, create claim and take apart windlass myself to fix. I am 70 years old and not the easiest thing to do. Also lunar sent me a new anchor rode free since their windlass destroyed the rode. Finally ( to date) the windshield washer fluid didn’t spray and after 3 hours of tearing apart console, found hose was pinched when they installed electronics and didn’t put the wiring cover back correctly!!

I could be okay with new boat problems but Walter doesn’t respond to any texts or offer any support and the only way he answered calls from me is when I blocked my caller ID. Guess he doesn’t see a future revenue stream from me so why bother!! Horrible way to remember this exciting purchase.

We met Rob Fields (sales) at the Bay Bridge Boat Show on a beautiful new Blackfin DC. He went through all the features and took the time to learn our needs/wants. We couldn't get the boat we saw at the show BUT luckily Rob had the same used boat at the office! He was super easy to work with, always responded quickly to our messages and even spent extra time making sure the boat was cleaned up and ready for us during pick up! Would definitely purchase through Annapolis Boat Sales Kent Island again!
