Fingers crossed that the NEW administrator turns things around. As a Doctor of OT, who worked here for years, I would never be able to recommend this facility with good conscience. I implore you to look up the numerous state tags received over the past 12 months at this facility. Do your research. While it may have been a lovely place a couple years ago, that no longer holds true.

Why does this establishment have any good reviews? This place is negligent on all accounts, refused to tend to issue. They only had a couple people that worked at this facility that cared and they are now gone because they were not getting paid. The company went bankrupt. I do hope it gets corrected. Many will have to spend their last days here and it should not be in torture. The facility would run out of food and supplies all the time. This has been reported to the state. It’s sad our elderly are treated like this.

If I could give negative stars I would! This place needs shut down completely!! The knowledge of staff job titles needs revision. Staff has no idea what they are doing or supposed to be doing, and they are full of excuses and or that’s someone else’s job. They have inadequate and poor care for their residents. Staff shortages and poor staff attitudes. Building safety issues and lack of cleanliness is concerning along with bugs in residents rooms. If you have family in this facility I hope you are checking in on them regularly. I’d transfer them to another facility immediately!!

I wa a patient at this facility for almost 6 months. A lot of staff are rude to their residents and have the attitude of not wanting to be there. My first couple weeks there, one CNA had yelled at a resident with autism wanting to be pushed to the dining room for breakfast and she was yelling loudly to shut up and that she would push him into the alleyway outside and leave him.

They dropped the ball with me so many times. I'm only 47 yrs old and was there to rehab my feet which had gotten infected so I couldn't walk. My bandages were to be changed every other day and only a couple nurses there would do it for me. I had to ASK for them to be changed and all but those 2 nurses would pass it off onto the next shift, and so on. Sometimes I would go 4 or 5 days without them being changed.

Showers were given every 2 weeks, or so i was told. I think from October 2023 to March 2024 I took 5 showers total.

I feel like sometimes I was less than human to these people. Some of my clothes became lost into the void after I'd send them to laundry. Since I couldn't walk, I had to goto the bathroom in a portable commode in the middle of my room, which was quite small and I had a roommate. 2 of those months I begged for a curtain for privacy. 2 months. 2 months I had to have bowel movements with my roommate staring at me while I ld relieve my bowels and wipe. It was not good.

I also got the state involved in a case where a CNA forcefully checked my body for sores even though i told her I didn't have any. I'm able - bodied. I can check myself and know if I'd have a sore somewhere. This lady got aggressive with me trying to pull my shorts down to check and I kept telling her no, but she kept on for over a minute of arguing with Me. I finally just let her. I felt humiliated and violated. Cops even got involved after state interviewed me about it.

Please do not send your loved ones here. They sometimes take over an hour to answer a call light to see what you want. If there's a serious issue, it might be too late. I feel incredibly horrible for the elderly that have no choice but to live there because they really have no voice. I was lucky and could defend myself from a lot of crap. They can't.

Superior care with a great team of nurses. I love the advocacy the offer for my Pop. Very friendly staff who are very helpful if ever needed, answer question and seem diligent to making it work even when things go wrong (Pop can be a handful). I would absolutely recommend this facility to any family looking for a stupendous facility.

They are super short staffed which makes the ones who are there extremely over worked. State is there all the time for things such as residents not getting showers. Staff are unwilling and rude. Just all in all a horrible facility, I would never trust them to take care of my loved ones.

It is very clean, and the staff know what each of them enjoy, from food to activities. Very nice facility. The administrator has her door open, & always personal with our loved ones.

This place gives employees card to give ratings to boost their reviews. This place isn’t even close to 5 stars let alone 3, this and Royal Oaks are very disgusting trying to get employees to boost their reviews. Ask the residents not the employers
