David is one of the best! I have known a lot of landscapers over the years and David is number one. David develops extraordinary designs that are so creative. We are so pleased with all of the work that David has done. He and his team work so hard on making the most unique and personable pieces. David and his crew are incredible! In about five hours they turned our back yard into a beautiful sanctuary - a work of art. As much as they were able to do so, they used existing plantings, dirt and other resources. I've spent more time in our small back yard in the past three weeks than in the entire year before then. It is a wonderful, relaxing oasis, and David is truly an artist in his approach to landscaping!

David was quick to respond to my phone call and was very flexible about finding a time to come over and check out the backyard that was to be landscaped. He gave us great ideas from the minute he walked outside and really took our desired outcome into consideration. He's great at envisioning a beautiful outdoor space. David always called me back promptly, and took care of any issues quickly, without me having to call him twice. I throughly recommend him for any job in landscaping. He replaced plants that had died as soon as was possible after winter.
He did a good design of the property as well. He also did all this via computer while I was living in Alaska.

David responded immediately to our request for quote and was at the house the next morning to scope out the job. In a couple days he was back with a fairly detailed sketch of the project and we agreed to terms.

David and his crew arrived promptly the next Monday morning and the job was finished in a little over 3 days. They installed a drip system, approx. 50 plants, trimmed several trees, and spread decorative rock and gravel. The site was cleaned up nicely and we are very satisfied with the results. The irrigation system is working nicely and all plants are doing well, except for one that suffered javelina damage.

There was some miscommunication on the status of some pre-existing decorative gravel and I feel that David could have handled that a little better. But in his defense, we could have made clearer beforehand that we viewed this as part of the project.

We will wait and see if the promise of good customer support after the sale is kept.

Worst experience ever. If you confront David about anything he's doing that isn't right, the guy starts hyperventilating, shaking, and mentally falling apart.

I had him do my backyard. At first, I was satisfied, but later found that his workers had broken a water line when putting in the sprinkler system. They covered it up and I didn't find out until my yard was a watery mess.

I called David and he told me "I'm busy and it doesn't sound like an emergency", and that he'd come out at 8:00 am in three days. I turned my water off and waited until Monday. He never arrived. When I called him, he said "I want there Saturday when you were gone and looked at it and there's nothing wrong".

Wait: You entered my property without notifying me, and then skipped our meeting without letting me know? And of course you didn't see anything wrong, because I had turned off the water and it had dried -- as soon as I turned the water back on, the swamp started filling again.

David is a crook. He doesn't stand by his work.

If you end up hiring David, make sure you get detailed drawings and an ironclad contract from him before you make any payments to him.

Unreliable. He never returned my call after he said he would come by to check out the house and I doubt he did that, and over the phone he was rude and snappy. That's not how you handle a future customer and I guess he wasn't serious about the business. Definitely not impressed.
