From beginning to completion, Joe Mantkowski and Artistree Landscaping were simply amazing.During the planning phase, Joe sat with our family discussing and presenting options for our hurricane damaged yard.Final drawings were presented in just 2 weeks!
Even with the large demand for their services, the installation was scheduled to meet our needs. The project began on time and was completed early. Artistree's workers very courteous and professional. The plants provided were healthy, beautiful and sized properly.
The final walkthrough was performed timely and very thorough. We highly recommend Joe and Artistree for any landscaping project.

UPDATE TO ARTISTREE RESPONSE: Over the summer, I submitted multiple work orders online and left numerous voicemails for Oliver at Artistree regarding broken irrigation and the gate being left open, all without receiving a response. It wasn’t until August, when I emailed Dan directly and sent pictures of my sprinklers spraying straight at my lanai, that I finally heard back.

On August 12th, one of your teams visited my home, and the technician informed me that the sprinkler heads needed adjustment because they weren’t covering parts of the lawn. He also repaired a leak in the drip line at the back of the property. Despite this, your team continues to inaccurately claim the issue is related to the water supply, which it is not.

Additionally, after I raised concerns about the gate being left open on August 7th, Dan confirmed, "I did get to speak with the mow crew supervisor. He discussed it with his crew, and they are going to make sure your gate is closed." Yet, three months later, the gates are still being left open. According to our neighborhood Facebook page, this is a recurring issue at multiple homes, and one woman reported that her dogs got out and were almost hit by a car.

When your team opens a gate, it is their responsibility to ensure it is securely closed. The reason I installed a fence was to protect my children, and your team’s repeated negligence is putting them at serious risk. If my 3-year-old were to get out because YOUR team left the gate open, he could wander into the pond where we have a resident alligator.

This ongoing lack of attention to safety is unacceptable

Artistree has been incredibly disappointing. They initially claimed there were no issues with my sprinklers and closed my work orders multiple times. Only after I pressed further did they acknowledge there were problems, which the most recent team had to fix. Even their own technician admitted the sprinkler heads needed adjustment and the drip line was leaking—issues that contributed to my backyard being in far worse condition than my neighbors’, leaving it dry, dead, and overrun with weeds.

Despite this, Artistree refuses to replace the grass, continually trying to blame the issue on the water supply. However, it has been made clear multiple times that the real problem is with the irrigation system. Their refusal to take accountability is frustrating and unprofessional.

On top of that, they’ve repeatedly left my side gates open, which is completely unacceptable when I have a 3-year-old, dogs, and live near a pond. Their lack of care, attention to detail, and responsibility is beyond frustrating. Would not recommend.

Very disappointing experience with Artis Tree. They were advised that the sprinklers were not working and didn't fix it for nearly 12 months. That caused the grass to die. Attempted to contact them for nearly 18 months to get it resolved and they haven't responded. Very poor customer service.

UPDATE: read your response. We've continually asked for management to contact us and have not once received a call or visit. Our entire lawn is dead due to a lack of water. Your own employees have confirmed it. All we're asking for is to make it right.

Unfortunately, the mowing and irrigation services in our community under HOA are a continued problem for MANY homeowners. Excessive grass clippings are left after mowing, which results in killing new sod homeowners purchase. They do not run the mower back over to mulch the long clippings, and just leave mounds of cut grass on top of healthy sod. So far, Artistree is unwilling to replace the sod their negligence has killed, and continue to point the finger to other reasons which they can't validate/prove, just to keep them off the hook of replacing sod. Irrigation is continually sporadic throughout the community which results in inconsistent watering and diminishes health of plants. Our HOA pays them well, and it seems too large of a challenge for Artistree to maintain healthy lawns. In addition, my fence gate has been hit with the mower and damaged on multiple occasions. The repair provided was them bending the bars back in place, not replacing. I cannot recommend any less with my current experience. I am open to changing my opinion if the proper leader that can make decisions is willing to correct the property damage (sod and fence) that the Artistree crews are responsible for. If you value your landscaping and property, look anywhere but here for maintenance and support.

In response to the Artistree Comment: False. Excessive grass clippings can kill sod over time (your AE admitted this is possible, although would not believe me as a customer advising that this is what happened over the last couple months - even Google agrees). In addition, we paid extra $ for the filter you installed to keep our irrigation unclogged. Are you cleaning the filter you installed on the proper schedule? We have recent tickets confirming our irrigation is working properly from Artistree. This continues to confirm the excessive clippings led to our dead sod, not to mention I observed this happen. It is unfortunate Artistree continues to take a stance of no fault with customers, when we as the homeowner know exactly what happens on our property. An easy solution would be to replace the area killed and ensure excessive clippings are not left on top of healthy grass/lawn going forward. Unfortunately, the 1 star review will stay unless my damaged sod is replaced and fault is admitted.

We recently hired ArtisTree Landscape to completely renovate our home's landscaping, including adding landscape lighting. The entire process was extremely smooth and we couldn't be happier with the result. Joe M. met with us to determine our particular likes and dislikes in terms of plant materials, style of design, colors used, etc. Joe prepared a complete plan that fit our design esthetic. He showed us the blueprint for all four sides of our home. He even included pictures of all the materials he proposed so we could see the plants' habits and colors, hardscape materials and lighting fixtures. He was very accommodating with any specific requests and tweaks we wanted to make. He prepared the complete package we needed to submit to our HOA for approval. Once approved, the work began on time and was done very professionally. The materials used were excellent specimens and Joe showed great attention to our specific privacy requirements by using larger sized specimens to give us the most privacy available as quickly as possible. Everyone working on our project showed respect to us and our property. We couldn't be happier with our new yard. Our home looks beautiful and has so much more curb appeal than when we purchased it a year ago.

Artistree has been taking care of my 1,900 plus house neighborhood for a long time and has done a great job maintaining our landscaping. After Hurricane Milton they came in fast and got the place cleaned up. I’ve had numerous encounters with staff and have found everyone helpful. Specifically Charles and his crew as well as the irrigation guys who respond quickly to my submitted work orders . It’s a tough job keeping residents happy so thanks again !
