Beware of these guys. They told me multiple times they would sod my whole backyard, and even put in the quote for 6 pallets of grass. They put one and a half pallets down (it looked like terrible quality, more like loose hay, I have attached pictures) and seeded the rest. They stated that they were done and sent me an invoice for $2,100 more than what they quoted me (with no explanation) and demanded me to pay. I brought up the fact that they were not finished and they stated that they made a typo in the quote they sent me, and that they really meant the would seed the yard, not put sod down. I then brought up the $2,100 increase, and they stated they had to use more dirt than they anticipated so they had to charge me more, and again, the quote was a “typo”. I told they never brought this up to me and I wasn’t going to pay the remaining balance (I’ve already paid them $10,450 of the $11,400 we agreed on because they asked for it saying they didn’t have enough to finish the job). The guy then told me that the owner is a very serious man, and is very mad, and that he is coming to collect the money. He said they would contact their lawyer. I told them go ahead and good luck! These guys didn’t even have insurance until I demanded for a copy before they started, I noticed that the dec page they sent me was binded that same day, so they were previously operating without it. Also, they broke my septic in two different spots, and were trying to cover it up until I took photos and sent it to them. The cherry on top, they told me it would take 2 weeks, and it took well over a month. Overpromise, underdeliver.

The team is by far the best contractors I have ever used. Work has been completed perfectly. We have been nervous about all the projects we have and have gotten some really unfair pricing from others. A & V prices are quick and very affordable for the work and quality that they perform. Will continue to use them for all projects going forward!

The owner claims to have 20 years experience. He doesn't even know what a french drain is and how to install it. We gave them every chance in the world to get the job done . It took them 1 month to install the drains correctly. Then we were going to have him take down and install a fence. It took another 3 weeks to take down 2 sides and put in poles. They used brick mortar and not cement for the poles. It was taking to long. I do not recommend this company for any big jobs. Very poorly managed

Hired for Spring/Fall lawn cleanup and did everything that was asked of them in a prompt and complete manner. I'm continuing using their service for regular lawn mowing. Very nice and polite people.
