Park is completely closed off, but looks cute. All the kids seem to be enjoying the classes indoors. Looks like they have a nice gymnastics area, but the building is run down and no air conditioning. I'll re-review when the playground opens back up.

Parking is also an issue, the paid spots were all filled and the neighborhood spots require a permit.

The park in back is quite small, mostly consisting of a playground, adult exercise structure and small pool, fronted by the larger historic park building. Inside there is an auditorium that has been converted into a gymnastics facility, an indoor basketball gym, and a few activity rooms upstairs.

The building is old, but far from run down. It could do with some renovations, especially the restroom facilities, but considering the low cost and high quality of the classes offered by the Chicago Park District, it's a real bonus to have such facilities nearby. Kids don't care as long as they enjoy themselves, and most kids do here, including my own. To think what could have been if 80% of the park land hadn't been exappropriated to build the expressway in the late 50s...

Parking can be a challenge as Street parking is by local permit only, and the lot in back is for park staff only. This means you have to find one of the few paid spots out front, which can be difficult on weekends and evenings.

We love this little neighborhood park with a community pool and splash pad. That water is on! Pool hours as per photo, closed on Sun and Mon.

A great neighborhood park with a kid-friendly 3' square pool open mon-sat in the summer. Great newly renovated splash pad with sprinkling turtle and dragonfly. Playground equipment includes lots of slides and climbing as well as tire swing and big/baby swings. A great resource for the community

My grandson is in agymnastics class there. I have not watched. But their covod protocol seems good. The kids wear masks and are picked up at the outside door. Parents do not go in the blding to keep the number of people inside low.
