Still have not gotten money back from this cheater. Can’t wait to see him in court.

As I sit here again waiting for them to arrive, this time 2 hours overdue with no call, I truly wonder how Lee could have possibly gotten any more than one star. The guy is a scammer. Beware. He took half the cost of project 3 months ago. He’s been here no more than 5 hours. That doesn’t include getting the money. He was very responsive to that. Do not hire this man. I will blanket the city of Tucson with negative reviews for Lee Fairbanks. Do not use this company

He was supposed to do a small paver patio. I would be done with it by now if I did it

In 3 months he brought over used granite- it has garbage and concrete pieces in it and dug up about 12 x 12 area about 2”

I will get back about how this turns out.

Beautiful work! We used Barrio Design 12 years ago for our courtyard. It came out beautiful. We recently hired them again for a fire pit banco and tortoise enclosure. The masnary work Lee's crew does is perfect! Great company, great crew, beautiful work. We will always go back to Barrio Design due to their work ethic and impecable work.

***update: we had to go through an entire ROC claim. After 1 year of time, pain, financial burden, we got most of our money back. I encourage you to go through the ROC if you are having issues with Lee stealing from you.

Lee Fairbanks the owner of Barrio Design is a thief and liar. He has stolen $9,500 from us and ran. We have been dealing with this ugly situation for 7 months and counting. Do your research and do not give this man a penny. His contractor’s license is now suspended.

We decided to reuse Lee to finish our yard project, dispite him taking MONTHS to put in some artificail grass for us. In september 2022 this man was paid in full to do a job for us because the gravel we needed was "on sale". It has been 18months to the day, with zero effort put in on his side. Doesn't matter how much you text, call, or threaten him. Countless time we opened the yard cameras to find his men on the job just laying on our back porch for HOURS straight doing absolutely nothing. Absolutely disgusted and will be seeing him in court.

I prefer to do my own yard work, but when four stubborn Oleander came blooming back, bright and leafy after monsoon, only three months after I had attempted to remove them, I knew I needed a professional team. I was looking into options when I heard about Barrio Design. I called the number Friday, arranged a no-cost estimate with Lee that could fit my budget, and the team came Tuesday and did a superior job both extracting the non-native plants and cleaning the spot so its like the Oleander had never been there.

Barrio Design did a great job on some stucco repairs and they also helped fixed some pavers that had sunken in to the ground in my backyard. Lee came by to give the estimate, and was very quick to respond to my inquiry. The communication was very clear and he was able to provide a written estimate and receipt for the deposit that I put down. The crew were excellent- they were very diligent, on time, and did an excellent job on the repairs. They took their time to show me the products they were using and how they were applying it to ensure that the stucco cracks were being sealed. Lee came by while the crew was working to ensure things were going right and to see if I had any questions. The completed work was great and I would highly recommend!

Barrio Design just completed a major backyard make-over for us. WOW! Lee's crew (Hector, Julio, Jorge, and Oscar are incredible. They showed up early, they were extremely polite, and did an excellent job transforming our yard into a resort like setting. The work was performed on time and within budget. Lee accommodated all our requests and the results exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to use Barrio Design again and would recommend him to my friends and neighbors

I see a lot of five stars on here, however my experience was the exact opposite. In my experience Lee and his team were far from on time! I was quoted 7 to 10 days start time. The job didn’t start until five weeks later on my insistence. Based on that alone I should have fired barrio design. However, I had already paid him over $1500. I ended up doing some of the work on my own. They did not haul away any of the dirt from the excavation of the drive way and now that they are done I am left to fix what they couldn’t do.

I cannot under good faith recommend this company, no matter how “nice” they are.

If you do hire them do not pay them anything until the job is complete.
