Be careful with this outfit. They sold my consignment items and gave me $0, didn’t even inform me they were gone. Two large stone garden benches and a stone garden stool. Hard to misplace or shoplift. Thom acknowledged a pick-up and told me all items are no longer in the store, go away, don’t call back. Hung-up the phone on me. Yes, it took a number of years to sell but I called or e-mailed every year and was informed they did not sell. One year Beeson’s staff sent photos of the benches in a garden display. Is Thom a shyster?, dishonest?, nasty?, all of the above. I feel sorry for his children who will be taking over the business someday. He is leaving a scarred reputation. If I were still in Illinois I would definitely be going to small claims court as I have full documentation from Beeson’s about these consignment items, retail value more than $1,500. Well, some businesses are content to screw you. Good luck doing business with them.

This place is incredible. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient, and they are more than willing and able to take the time to make sure you get what like. The installation package is great too. We had an issue with one of our trees, and they put us on this phone with their botanist and they took care of it on the spot. You won't be disappointed here.

We did a large landscaping project with Beeson's this summer (2016). It's still not finished and I think at this point I'm going to have to give up the hope that they will honor our contract and finish the project. I've basically been begging them to please honor the contract and replace the handful of completely dead and destroyed plants they planted that are "guaranteed" in our contract and under warranty, but to no avail.

It's sad, what is happening at Beeson's. The staff are all terrified of Thom, the owner, who is over-working them, and whom I've seen have terrible and somewhat frightening mood swings. He scolded me in front of my 4-yr old telling me I wasn't grateful enough for the (unfinished) project despite being paid in full. It scared my child.

I reached out directly to his team who were trying to "sneak" over to finish the project and do what's right but Thom "caught" them and had them unload the truck and cancel the job. He's rather vindictive. It's a hard lesson to learn that people don't do the right thing and honor their word once they've been paid. This project has been running since May so after 6 months, I am giving up and will need to pay someone else to finish.

I could never in good conscious advise someone to work with them in fear that they would have a similar experience. Proceed with *great* caution.

I've bought over twenty large trees and bushes from Tom over the years. No problem until you have a problem. Tom gave me a BS answer on a dying tree dodged my initial calls and emails and said repeatedly that he would come by and look at it. He did nothing but delay for almost a year until he claimed I killed the tree due to dehydration. I would not recommend him. His guarantee is only backed up his word and it is no good. Beware

They had a wide selection of plants and nice pots to go with them as well. The service there was great and they gave me some tips for taking care of my plants! There was also a super cute cat!😁
