I would advise everybody to check their Big Lots receipts before they leave the parking lot. I purchased a single pillow from them earlier today but when I got home, I noticed that the receipt showed that a 2-pack of pillows was purchased for almost twice the price of the single pillow. I went back over there and got a credit for the price difference.

Well, they did it again. They charged me $4.99 a piece for two plastic planters and the price tag on the bottom showed that they were $1.99 a piece. Now I understand why this dump is going out of business.

Things cost way more than they are worth. You can get the same things at Dollar Tree much cheaper. Service was good, friendly and helpful though.

Since closed so many locations you have to order it & pick up yourself from a location that's open. Approx 30-45 miles.

The indoor service was great. Most staff were attentive and friendly. The outdoors has a lot of work needed, and not because of construction I am talking about the horrible parking lot.

They have a lot of deals and interesting selections. I like that their stock items change and are replaced with new products, and the seasonal products can be interesting. If I'm ever near a Big Lots and have some time on my hands I pop in to see what I can find, and I usually always walk out of there with at least a few purchases.

This store is a little difficult to find because it sets back away from the main road, but it is stock full of items that you need for your home, for traveling, or just basic essentials to have. Their items are usually affordable but in my opinion the furniture is way too high for this type of store. Having said that you will find some unique items and outdoor patio sets that are sure to please. The staff is usually nice and professional, and it's located around other stores, a laundromat, an antique mall and eateries just in case it's your shopping day!

We drove an 80 mile round trip to the Alton Illinois Big Lots to purchase two speciality items that was not in stock at any of the other St Louis metro locations. It was worth the trip to us. Thanks.
