I found this cute little coffee shop that is absolutely adorable I really love the atmosphere & the customer service was awesome when I was there I had the spinach quiche& homemade lemonade, absolutely delicious. My friends had pound cake,biscuits and jam and also loved it! I also had a ice latte that was just OK but I would definitely come here again and recommend you to try this place it's also black owned and also a small business owner. I love to support both so this was win win !

Absolutely love this coffee shop !!! My first visit and my first gingerbread latte it was amazing ....the quiche with fruit was fresh. Customer service was very helpful and patient with me as I am quite picky about my coffee! Clean atmosphere and great place to meet with friends. Highly recommend and I will be back for the infamous biscoff latte for sure! Support this local business

Run into the business via Instagram and so glad it did! It is exciting to have a good coffee shop North of Orlando!

The shop is a good size and it is beautifully decorated. The ambiance is chill and relaxed, where you can enjoy a good latte or tea or pastry.

They do not have skim milk but did not mind because the offer alternatives like almond and oat. Their latte is good with either almond or oat milk and their ham and cheese quiche was delicious! Pleasantly surprised and the good flavor and quality ingredients.

I will keep them as one of my go to's from now on and look forward on trying their other menu items.

They get busy on Saturday's, so just make sure that you don't want something specific but for a coffee start or afternoon pick me up is a great place to visit.

The grand opening was 3 days ago!! Absolutely in love with this spot. First of all, Apopka doesn’t have a cute, chill, vibe coffee shop… until now! Birchwood Coffee has checked off each box you could imagine.

The top coffee choices on the menu, hot chocolate is delicious 😋 and most importantly food to go along with your choice of beverage.

Music is just right… with plenty of seating even a nice couch area to have conversations with your company. High top bar tables for those that like working on their computers. They also have a kid's corner with appropriate child-level reading books, chairs, and table.

You can tell a lot of detail went into planning the inside look. Job well done! I can’t wait to be back and this will be my usual work/social spot! There is an outside seating area as well so you can pick inside or outside.

Very excited I have a coffee shop like this one in Apopka.

I truly hope the local community will continue to support this business so it can thrive.

The location is good. Near other nice shops.
The service is also very good. Quick. Responsive. Attentive.

The coffee quality is excellent as well. The latte art I know is hard to develop, and it will take the rest of the team a few month to master it.

The “official” barista (I think he might be there only in the mornings?) is good with the art.

There’s also some details that make this place super cool:

- decoration
- golden spoons
- the bakery items (have not tried them yet)

I would recommend having some healthy option as well, like oatmeal bars, or something without sugar.

Overall, very happy with Birchwood!

A small latte at $5,25? 🙃

Recently celebrated my sisters upcoming wedding with a group of 20 ladies. Our server Krystle did an amazing job. She showed up early to ensure everything was set up just right, paid attention to detail and was very kind and helpful. She was on point!!!
Management on the other hand seemed to disrupt and pressure her in a way that was counter productive and made it feel like they were rushing the process. I have been in the business for over 25 years and understand the need for the kitchen to expedite food to large parties in a way that keeps the flow, however it was obvious that was the managers main concern and not ensuring that the party felt welcome, appreciated, or assisted in a way that supported the Server in a positive manner.
There was an obvious tension there.
Again Krystle was AMAZING!
The manager was short and not very good at giving a kind welcoming vibe before during or after.
When someone is spending that kind of money and wanting to have fun with family and friends there should be a professional, patient, graceful approach.
The food was incredible!! The dining area perfect!! We had an amazing time!
My only issue was the lack of tact of the manager.
It was noticed by my sister and on a day like that, there should have never been a vibe that felt rushed or like we were putting them out somehow.
There should have been another server assisting her rather than a grumpy manager who obviously didn’t enjoy that aspect of her job.
Krystle is the kind of server that had a genuine and apparent level of care for her costumers needs, however it was obvious this was not the concern of The Birchwood leadership team.
No personality and the communication of the bill was stale and done with zero grace or a feeling of being grateful for the opportunity to host such an important event for my sister.

Also the service fee being split with so many others in a way that did not give the opportunity to give the wonderful server her true share was tacky.
Of course she got an extra tip… but the structure and percentage that was explained seems over board! Working a private party is an art form to me and the lead deserves to make a large percentage of that gratuity. When explaining it… it came off in a way that just left a bad taste in my mouth.
My suggestion is to have someone with more experience with these parties. Someone who has a more welcoming manner and graceful kind approach with people to present the bill, assist the server, and facilitate in a much more classy manner.

If you’re looking for a warm and sweet time come to Birchwood Coffee CO. This family owned business knows how to meet your eye for ascetics and sweet tooth cravings. Their latte’s and peach cobbler are mouth watering and delicious. Apopka’s best keep secret.

Birchwood is a favorite for my children and myself. We love seeing what their new menu adds are in the different seasons and talking to the family in this family owned business. The food and drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Great place to do work and eat alone or bring my kids.
