First time at Blooming House today. So thankful for DJ and all of her help! She was friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, had wonderful recommendations for what we were looking for and how to properly care for them. Plants were beautiful, wide variety, nice set up, great prices!!!! We will definitely be back.

I got a great price on a large sable palm. Large variety of plants to choose from and priced better than other local nurseries. Rates for having the palm delivered and installed were very reasonable, but I decided to hull and plant the palm myself. With the help of two friends, a couple tow straps and two trucks it took about 2 hours to get fully setup .

Call specifically to ask about a yard of compost, and was quoted an incorrect price, the price was $20 more when I went to actually pick up the compost an hour later. The office person could’ve been at least somewhat polite but no apology, only stated that that’s not correct. The price is what it is. Obviously the workers there are not on the same page as they should be.

This is my favorite nursery for outdoor and landscaping plants. The staff is amazing and always helpful and the selection is phenomenal all year round. Prices are great and the extra yard art is a bonus while walking around. Definitely worth checking out.

I recently went to this nursery because the large nursery across the street did not have any milkweed which I wanted to attract monarch butterflies. Ivan helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. He was apologetic because he said his plants had been eaten by monarch caterpillars. Well... I was able to purchase a plant that though it had no leaves had 5 caterpillars on it! I was thrilled. Ivan also recommended another plant to me, and it is blooming beautifully now and attracting butterflies. Ivan is extremely knowledgeable about plants and their care, and he showed me how to trim them back so they would become more healthy and bushy. It is certainly worth going across the street to check this place out because they have many different plants for sale and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Went looking for a palm tree, and there was very few, maybe five or six. Whenever I asked a price, someone had to be called. When I went to leave I inquired about a large one that was near where we parked. No price given as that person didn't answer the phone. Price for pine bark and delivery was good.

Great prices. I shopped around Gainesville and this place was about 10% less than everyone else and they had a great selection. I purchased river rock and succulents. Mike was very professional and fast to deliver.
