I’ve only managed to get into the store once in the past year. I would be a regular but every time I go, the store is closed. One day, I did even try to go twice. I went at opening time at 10, but no one had showed up by 1005 and I had to get to work. So when I was in the neighborhood again later in the day, I tried, but the store was still closed, and there was no sign. I don’t see anything online about hours changing or temporary store closure. I imagine it’s hard to create regular customers when it’s not a reliable business so idk what the deal is. I will be on the hunt for a new plant store unfortunately

The shop was bright and full of beautiful plants. The owner was bright and charismatic. She kindly spoke with my seven year old , who is starved to talk to anyone but me lol, and I was able to find a beautiful rare plant to take home. I will be back next time I’m in town. What a sweet little store! I'm a local and had never paid attention to this little corner store before! Gorgeous cacti, adorable succulents to great prices, beautiful pottery. My daughter was into the crystals and enjoyed conversation with knowledgable store staff. We'll be back soon!

They have incredible plants and will make you a gorgeous custom potted arrangement on the spot. I absolutely have to come here every time I visit Tahoe, and I always end up leaving with more plants/pots than I intended to get... also got several vintage-style posters here, and they were great quality and almost unbelievably cheap.

I have gone to see the plant Dr. twice now. BOTH times we chatted about how to care for various plants that I have. Both times she helped me report a couple plants that I had either left for dead or thought was dead. She is incredibly knowledgeable and kind to those of us who want to have a green thumb but mostly don't even have a thumb.
